He shot me down at half-time because I said we’d been dross, so I invited him to review whether we’d improved in the 2nd half. He obviously took it badly.🙄😂
-
Utter rubbish free kick…no intent, no skill, seen better in League One. Talk about the Emporers clothes.
-
Where are you then Trousers? Think this is not utter dross? You’ve had almost an entire game to disagree with my half-time analysis and things have actually got worse!
-
Just stop the utterly pathetic ‘long’ throws FFS. Ralph has to go now…he doesn’t have a clue to how beat a poor team.
-
Fook me, if JWP passes backwards once more when in plenty of space I’ll end up damaging the TV!
-
JWP - what is the point now? Can’t tackle, can’t pass, poor dead balls…I’m struggling to see what he brings. Alongside Elynonousy our midfield is shit.
-
Err, so you agree we’ve been better than utter dross all across the team in the first half? Really? I’m hoping of course that somehow Ralph manufactures a silk purse out of a sows ear at half-time…it may happen and if it does I’ll be the first to congratulate him for a stunning display of tactical genius. See you at full-time.😏😉

Utter dross all over the park. Seriously poor tactical management AGAIN from Ralph.
-
Bailey should have collected a yellow for that challenge on Perraud! Dirty Villa are getting away with lots of nasty little knocks.
-
Distribution from the back has been very substandard so far.
-
Doesn’t look like we’ve got scoops about how to get the ball to our forward players and we’re being out numbered in midfield. Ralph needs to sort this out or we lose.
-
No match thread? Or is this it?
-
Kiss of the jinx? We shall see tonight indeed! 🤣 If all their senior GK's out are they allowed an emergency loan or will they promote a junior? Whoever's in goal will undoubtedly have an outstanding game, saving everything thrown at him. Or more likely, Ralph's team selection means a blunt attack and we'll struggle to get a shot away. No, we really SHOULD be able to find a way to beat this Villa team/manager and I expect us to do so 2-1.
-
Yes, which is why I said too early for him, but it’s a loan to buy I believe so not impossible in the future as a senior player.
-
KWP wrote a piece recently about how JWP is coaching him in being a leader or something similar - perhaps that’s where the succession lies? Too early for him yet, but perhaps AMN is the man to replace Romeu as VC?
-
There’s something about Villa that always makes me feel they’ll be poor for large parts of the game but still find something in the locker to score a goal or two and win. Especially against unpredictable us. I really don’t know what to expect…the break may have worked for us, but it doesn’t usually. Would like to think we can win 2-0, but can see the reverse given our blunt attack. Let’s hope another week with team sharpens AMN’s game and JWP finds his mojo again.

Redmond?
-
Maybe, but not if they finish a lot lower in the table or worse still they’re relegated. Not that I think that’ll happen - they’ve got a great team.

Similar feelings to many here. Firstly, classy goodbye message - nice, but then so it should be given he’s been supported by the club for 6 years being pulled up from a lower league. I was initially skeptical of his ability to adapt to the EPL, but then pleasantly surprised by some great performances early in his time with us. But as time went on he faded, but to be fair to him, I suspect some his passing backwards/sideways was due to instructions from Ralph. Overall got no issue with him and wish him the best at his new club.

I’m amazed Chelsea have gone for Potter, despite the fact he’s done wonders at Brighton who I feel for because as usual just as a smaller club starts having success they get pillaged by the ‘big’ clubs and it will be interesting to see how Brighton fare without him. I’m also slightly surprised that Potter has moved - is the money that much more important than creating something very special at a smaller club? I guess it must have been for him. I don’t think he’ll be there for too long…expectations are just too high to give him a chance to grow and develop his team/philosophy etc. But good luck to him, except when we play them.

I don’t think there was anything inappropriate about Ralph’s comments. The club will have provided sound counselling for the lad following significant investment in his development. SFC staff have years of experience and knowledge of the various EPL club academy setups and the pathways. The lad made a decision, but that could have been based on more than just the money and clearly he didn’t take into account how he might fit into the Chelsea FC community which would be pretty daunting by all accounts. He’s a potential big talent, but in the cut throat sharp end of EPL pro football, career decisions at his age will be vitally important if he’s to make it at this level, so he can count himself lucky that Saints think so highly of him.

🚨 As part of the Redmond deal, Beşiktaş will loan 20-year-old winger Ajdin Hasić to Sport Republic-owned Göztepe #saintsfc @HaberKartali Not heard of this guy, but hope he’s happy with bench sores! lol. Good luck to Redmond - not been my fav player as I thought from day one signing him was a bit of a mistake, but fair play to him…he’s scored some great goals. If the rumours are true he has been a disruptor in the changing room and of course he’s lost his way completely now, so it’s best he moves on.

OK, so I messaged on Telegram and immediately got info on renewal of my account. Looks like they’re still in operation and I suspect the use of Telegram is to provide a ‘more suitable’ means of contact. I use the iptv app on an iPad which generally works well, although there is buffering at times. Overall though I’m pleased with the service.

I’ve been a member for quite sometime and have noticed a deterioration in service/contact. I’ve just sent a message on Telegram and will report back when/if I hear back.

Absolutely this…there needs to be clear blue water between the Refs on the field and the VAR officials as that’s the only way to stop the claims of cronyism etc. It is no different to a professional audit activity which will always be independent and unbiased. That and a return to a place where VAR verifies the correctness of Ref decisions rather than act as an additional Ref of players actions would be a massive step forwards. Unfortunately though, it would not act in the best interests of the EPL money men and larger clubs.
