And there’s another indictment of our defence. So weak. However, that was handball by their player and shit Ref misses it.

Playing fucking suicide football at the back. Trouble is if Tonda goes to a back four that’s only two players to piss around. And fair play to Manning - that’s a very good goal.

Total change of fortunes. Showing our fragility.
-
Shite fk from Manning.
-
Twat Manning fails to clear the ball and they’re one up. Baz and our three CB’s nowhere to be seen. Defence is shit.
-
Superb tackle from Downes
-
They’ve basically resorted to fucking around at the back again. It’s only shit Norwich that saves us.
-
So many fucking fouls in one passage of play and the Ref is bottling it.
-
Come on Saints - need to really shut these twats up.

Darling - a complete arse of a player
-
Fuck. They’ve got a great keeper.
-
Pen??? Bit soft - ball has gone.

THB showing how limited his ball playing skills are. Nearly 1-0

Looking so dodgy in retreat.

Clear foul on Fraser and Ref turns a blind eye

WTF Manning?!?

Missing Fellows will unbalance the team in midfield even more than it normally is. Fraser will not have the pace or skills, so I expect most balls going via Manning who will inevitably recycle most passes backwards. Think it’s going to be a frustrating game - just hopefully not fruitless as momentum is our friend right now.

Fair enough - but for some reason he’s clearly just not working for Saints and for his sake it’s time to move on.

Yeah, I think different coaches like to do things differently in terms of utilising a squad which has limited fitness capacity/resilience. With RM he liked high possession because there was less running to chase the ball thereby trying to eek out fitness, but the problem with that was there were slower transitions, less attacking intent and usually a need to score late in the game. Plus when it came to subs, poor squad quality meant things just got worse. With Tonda he’s got the team putting a lot of effort into scoring early in games. This is working well, but players tire quicker and while we’ve got a large squad, depth of quality is lacking still so in most cases subs continue to make things worse, especially when the tactic of tippy tap at the back to conserve energy goes awry because the opposing team play a high hard press.

You’d think he’s the guy right, but I’ve not seen Archer resemble anything like what AA has done in relation to goals or assists. He’s not as mobile, lacks composure and doesn’t have the creative vision of AA. I can’t be arsed to find out, but I would wager that most of his previous big haul of Championship goals were poacher type tap-ins.

Very good summary which reflects exactly my thoughts. Waiting for MLG to pick holes in the argument, even though he has no clearly thought out reasoning of his own.

For someone so cock-sure when policing others, you have a spectacularly underdeveloped understanding of what’s happening in the here and now! Let me help you…he’s scored nothing this season and more to the point has missed some very good chances. He needs to move on so we can get a proper CF.
-
Archer has how many goals so far in the Championship? He doesn’t look remotely capable of scoring, even in one on one chances. Stewart might be able to score if he was anywhere near match fit before the season ends - a risky gamble at best. And what if AA gets injured or suspended - who steps up to the plate? If there’s any ambition to go up we need a decent CF and have done for years - an indisputable fact.

As usual you quote out of context to self-serve your sad lust to police others posts. Grow up and stop being a complete numpty - you might get a little more respect.

What? I didn’t say that - I said he would content to sit on the bench (given his injury record).
