We don't get too elated when we're winning and we don't get too down when we lose. What about when things look like they're built on sand? Meh, it's not a disaster lets face it, but the performances from the midfield and front line are looking consistently poor with no clue how to arrest the decline.

This really is a pivotal game in the season's fixtures. Retain any semblance of hope in the top 6 or fade away to mid-table - I see it really as decisive as that. The result will have a significant effect on the view of fans and media too IMO. Realistically - as always - it depends what team ManUre field and whoever it is, whether they want it enough. Their squad depth is far better than ours and RK does not seem convinced by Reed etc. If Schneiderlin is not back and we have to move Toby forward, we will lose (again) I fear - I'm a big believer in square pegs in square holes. Head 1-3...heart 1-1.

Mane once again this evening showed that he is not to the standard required to unlock a defence. I really don't know what he is offering the team that Isgrove et al cannot. How long do we have keep this guy on the payroll?

Forster excellent. Mane in particular was useless, but Pelle, Tadic and to a certain extent Long were ineffective at best. Wanyama had a good game. Felt really sorry for Cork - one of a number of players that received no protection from the Ref against some dirty niggly fouls that Arse seem to get away with. Another result that the pundits will say "Saints were unlucky to lose that", when in reality we looked unlikely to win it due to being so ineffective in the final third. I dread to think what sort of team we'll field against ManUre.

Yeah, like the games against Liverpool and Spuds early doors...we thrashed them then.

This has got loss all over it...probably 3-0 again and I say that after witnessing our teams heads drop substantially at 0-1 and the white towel came in at 0-2 against 10 men (or was it 9 by then?). Fact is that we looked very tired and pedestrian in possession, with the finishing accuracy of a bottom 3 team. Tadic needs to be banned from taking corners and free-kicks on goal...he has never looked as good as JWP or even Davis and Toby IMO has a better shot on him. Bring on Utd and another thrashing. LOL.

Does this joker actually think we've got to 2nd place playing like that? If so, he shows either incredible bias or complete stupidity!

So this sudden interest in Mitchell has come after the defeat to Stoke? Utter tosh. Why would he move now after being the architect of a significant part of Staplewood, his team and the facilities? And to a club in turmoil? If Mitchell goes then he's not of the right stuff for Saints anyway.

Can't get bored as it's not about the winning...thats the product of witnessing some great football and the challenges that keep on presenting themselves. The next one is whether we can compete and win against the 'big' teams. Then if we do finish top four whether we can make mark in Europe. Plus there's the question of silverware...when will we see another cup win? And so on...there are so many achievements potentially yet in store but to get them we've got to keep on winning...no reason to get bored!?

Don't count your chickens. Leicester play decent football and will not be scared of taking the game to us. Can see us dropping points.

Totally dominated the game, although to be fair Forster made 2-3 point blank saves that kept them out. Our midfield is absolutely awesome, but Cork for me was brilliant today - he really doesn't get the plaudits as he should...an all round excellent performance all over the park - I think he's a better balanced player than Lallana. We've definitely upgraded the squad this season - can't wait to see what Mane and then J-Rod bring to the team. If they can get a place that is! Koeman tactically got it right bringing on Big Vic the brickhouse. Can't wait to see MOTD.
