It's a difficult call really because it's true to say (almost) any team can beat any other team in this league on their day. Things have changed for us - at one time we would beat top teams and come unstuck against the lowly cloggers. Our fitness, skill and tactical awareness is paying off now, but there are still frailties - agreed. We will not win every game in the next 2 months, but I don't think we'll lose them all - results so far would indicate that to be the case. We have everything to play for and nothing to lose - we'll not be relegated this season, so sit back and enjoy the ride - it could be extremely exciting for us that's for sure.

Trouble is all the 'developments' are aimed at clawing in money from new residential units or funding art-based buildings that a minority of interested people are going to visit. What Southampton needs is one or two key innovative attractions that will stand the test of time and attract new visitors into the City. Dare I say it, but Pimpley have got that well sorted out with the joint attraction of Gunwharf and the Tower. What have our Councillors to offer? Look at the future developments and they are a complete joke. Two key developments I would put right at the top of the list alongside the Royal Pier development would be (a) a monorail that links the City Centre with the water front (stops at least at Central Station, West Quay, Royal Pier, Shamrock Quay and SMS) and (b) a large viewing tower of some kind, but one that shadows the Spinnaker by having eating places etc. incorporated - we need to compete strongly. If you think about the revenue the Itchen Bridge generates, both these ideas would be very attractive private business propositions.

Not after a spell at one of Her Majesty's best correctional facilities! LOL What a looser.

I would say "no thanks", but I reckon he's the type of player Adkins would go for. Having said that, if Barnie is ready to play we don't really need another striker until January earliest if atall.
-
Couldn't give a stuff about his past - despite his Pimpley connections, he is a good Manager without doubt. I am completely disinterested with the current English team and Managerial set-up. I think Harry would be a perfect England Manager and have as much or more ability as anyone to build a team to be proud of. I'm not so sure he would jump at the chance actually. Bring it on I say.

What about Kenwyne Jones also? I was sure he came out of our Academy and he's been playing Prem football for sometime now.

Perhaps if the club wish to keep the flag and not communicate to the fans that bought it, they could cough up an amount of money equal to the total fan contribution and make a donation to the Saints Foundation? I would rather see my money go to something useful than on a flag that I am never going to see at SMS.

Very pleased - will be extremely interesting to see (a) how long it takes him to push back into the squad (at Guly's expense?) and (b) whether he can show he has what it takes at NPC level. I think, if given the chance, he will be fantastic - like having a new top striker sign for us.
-
Am I hearing right? Sounds like we're playing Brazil footie now!

Oh how I wish I was sat in my seat at SMS. Two matches missed. Booo. Got a nice tan though (L:

Superb! Cheap Greek table wine will never taste better tonight!

Was OK, but just taken off for Chappers after he was through on goal but shot instead of passing to Guly for a defo goal. Think Adkins decided he needed to steady things up a bit. Hope that was not too early - should be OK as Chappers can attack well if needed.

Weird listening on-line. I'm two hours ahead of the UK, yet I get the match commentary 15 seconds later than those listening to Solent FM locally?!!!
-
Yyyeeeeesssss!!!!!
-
Another pen on Lambo! Come on Rickie - do your stuff!
-
Injured apparently.
-
Cork gets booked - he'll be replaced by Chappers later I suspect.
-
Come on Saints! Watford are panicing big time. Even Lambert is putting in quality crosses to Lallana and De Ridder. Not hearing anything of Guly.
-
Saints seem to be settling down and coming up with some good moves. De Ridder and Lallana starting to make it all happen.
-
Lallana hits crossbar - would have been goal of the season according to our Dave.
-
Watford getting back into the game - Merry Dave reckons Saints need to stay strong. Mmmm.
-
Come on Saints. Guly puts Saints in trouble - Watford almost get one back as a result.
-
Yeeeeesssss!
-
Yes - come on you ******* Saints! Hit it true Rickie!
