That's very fair of you TBF. There are many other posters who would not be so polite. Well done. (;
-
Nah, not this one - it's a Fred, not a thread. The forum can't handle two match threads at once.
-
Which match thread shall we follow this evening - this one or the other one?
-
Eh? You're right, you are talking madness.

Scott Dann for £5m. Break The Bank Time

Hook, line, sinker. (; -
Perhaps his challenge was a deliberate one to wipe out his yellows and make time for surgery at the same time?
-
It's a good point, however I think for most players being discussed lately, we would be able to make a very good educated guess.
-
It would be quite remarkable if it did TBF, but I for one am not holding my breath.
-
Like, "don't hold your breath"? lol

...for the next 5 years. Discuss. (Sorry but we've not seen a pointless thread started for...well, for quite sometime at least).

Players you'd love to see at SMS but will never sign...

Why would you want to see them at SMS, but not sign?!?! Just the opportunity to take their photos? Why?!? -
The Bubble Had To Burst At Some Point... Discus!?!

I'm exhausted reading through that drivel. ): -
I am more confident about my comments as the opening poster is about us having a hope in hell's chance of signing Beckford. Pretty solid eh?

This. Immature OP backed by those who can't tell the difference between a console game and the real world. -
Salary, ego, doesn't want drop from Prem, would expect start thereby would not fit with squad ethic, we wouldn't pay the £4-5m for him. Just for starters - is that enough?

International Breaks - Like them or hate them?
Saint Fan CaM replied to St Marco's topic in The Saints
Can't say I hate Internationals, but I dislike what the English game has to serve up thanks to an outdated FA and a bunch of overpaid tarts. Count the percentage of English players in the Prem and that will tell you all you need to know about English football at the moment. -
A banana skin awaits I'm thinking...
-
Dear oh dear...get real people...please.

Good balanced view.

This.

Will wait for a detailed account from someone at the game, however it sounds like two things did for us - poor defending (surprise, surprise) and Adkins not pulling his finger out and making the Guly / De Ridder and Harding / Fox subs early enough to make enough of a difference.
-
If we lose we lose - it's gonna happen sooner or later. However, why we've not sorted out a CB when it's been blatantly obvious for weeks that Seaborne is not good enough is frankly poor. Not only that, but NA needs to use the team selection in the manner he suggests - i.e. if a player is not performing then his oppo should get a chance to shine.
-
Not good enough - unproven at the very least - we have better at the club - in short, no.
-
Trouble is that the last two years strategy of buying up the leagues best players and/or a player or two from the league above is not really happening at the moment. OK, you could argue that Cork has come from the Prem albeit reserves. Fox is not displacing Harding and hasn't been able to show he's worthy yet anyway. De Ridder I think could be classed as a cut above the average for the squad and from a decent team. It's a tough balance - we don't want the team spirit upset sure, but there are areas of the team that need strengthening and whoever comes in must be an improvement on what we've got. Baldock going to West Ham could be a blow - he is a good player that would have really added to the team.

I hate that prat Warnock with a passion. Complete @rse.
