  1. I think we could've had the courtesy to at least acknowledge Hull City, it would've been an opportunity to show some class. I mean it's a fair statement, we apologise in it... just a tiny bit of arrogance regarding the £200m which could read we're assuming we've beaten them. I just cannot fathom how if we somehow get reinstated that Tonda and co should be allowed anywhere near it. Assuming AL could be caretaker but whose to say he isn't aware of it??? The dynamic at the training ground today must be very odd.
  2. They are aware, they're putting all their eggs in the basket of the appeal being successful which in their minds results in them having to grovel less as the collateral (operational) damage would be less. Giving we have admitted guilt and we're only challenging the sanctions - it's incredibly poor, somewhat disgusting they haven't released any form of statement/apology. Lot's of heads will roll on this one... strap up this is going to be a very bumpy ride. Can't help but feel for Hull.
  3. Firstly, an apology to Old Nick. I was there last night and wasn't exactly in top voice outside of the goals being scored so me battering the away support on Saturday was hypercritical. Felt like there was a very nervous energy for obvious reasons, a lot more to the WBA time out. One thing I have learned is the absolute distain I have for the fan base of Boro who have the ultimate victim complex. I'm all for them feeling like 'spygate' isn't sporting behaviour and is a breach of an EFL law but to actually blame them not progressing on the scenario is wild. Understood their game management/shit house attempts, in particularly led By Fael, Ayling and Morris which was very enjoyable that it appeared to backfire. Referee and the lino in the Itchen end (1st half) were appalling - yet again Boro feel they had less rub of the green (shock). I have my own controversial opinion on the THB/Ayling alleged incident but I won't share that here. Yet, I do expect the EFL to make an example of THB regardless of the evidence and primarily because what was happening elsewhere. Ball boy was interesting, clearly two/three U18 players hooked in for this, enjoyed them playing up to it. Ultimately, EFL guidance is the players must use the nearest ball either in play or on the cone. What was happening last night, is the Boro players kept wanting the ball on the cone assuming it was dry to improve grip for the long throw. Club might get a slap on the wrist as the ball team can't restrict the players from taking the ball. Quick win here would've been to have them spray their drink on the ball on the cone. As for Spygate, some interesting learnings and will be fascinated to see if the other clubs I've been told of participating in similar conduct are outed for what sounds like common practice. Ultimately, sounds like we just got 'caught' filming with an iPhone at a public gate - none of this surveillance nonsense. Can't imagine there would be much uproar if England win the World Cup having found out some information on the Argies before the final. Don't get me wrong if we've broken into the training ground, yeah fair enough throw the book at us - filming from a public space - tough luck. Ultimately, I'm all for us being the pantomime villain and hope we fully embrace it given the battering we've been taking from the media and some rather odd fan bases (especially Coventry City - half of which hadn't stepped foot in the Ricoh Arena before big Frank took over). Finally, Casper Jander take a bow.
  4. Much better response (yes Old Nick including the fans. They’re there for the taking. Hats off to Peretz, Bree and THB. Stewart did well.
  5. At home, shouting at you.
  6. Strongly disagree. Driven five hours to sit on their hands. Generate something.
  7. I was thinking this… can’t believe I’m saying that out loud.
  8. Jesus this is awful as bad I can remember. Fin Azaz looks genuinely scared. I have to say it, the away fans are pony. It’s a play off game - creating absolutely nothing.
  9. This is the most underrated comment on here 😆
  10. My point exactly, there’s a certain club where you can watch the training session from the treadmills in the public gym that overlooks the training pitches.
  11. This is correct MLG, if it helps for those not aware these are ‘match day prep’ days referred to ‘match day minus 1, 2 or 3’. Its typically when the match specific prep is done including pattern walk through (ranging from unopposed goal kicks to attacking plays approaching the final third) with the starting 11, set pieces and functional play (typically dealing with opposition patterns). Still find it mad though given clubs post these sessions often as a mic’d up feature on their social media. If you don’t want people to see it, have a private training ground.
  12. I’ve not gone back and read anything on here and nor will I. However, here is my two pence worth for anyone interested. Does this look great on the club? Obviously not, it’s not exactly spirit of the game. Yet, the outcry from Boro fans and calls for expulsion is simply odd and completely tin pot. If you have a training ground that effectively allows people to view training, restriction free then that’s your problem. Especially at this level. I do fear we’ve made a rod for our own back but I won’t lie… there’s a bit of me that hopes we have a complete shit house attitude towards it on Tuesday and play up to the pantomime villain. Fans with binoculars, matching goal celebrations, full rendition of ‘he’s in your hedge’. Fuck it let’s embrace it.
  13. Group look fucked, assuming this is why we aren’t going full press. how is that fat little fuck Sam Morsy looking like prime Pirlo?
  14. Monk

    Tonda Eckert

So which Bundesliga club does he go to in the summer?
  15. Absolutely superb. I hate the fact Cov have ran away with the league, we're so much better.
  16. Shake my hand. Top man.
  17. Any links to a stream please?
  18. Any other streams? That other one is like watching a game on TeleText.
  19. Norwich are decent, a big three points. I'd genuinely would argue that was the poorest officiating I have ever seen in the industry.
  20. Fuck me this stream is more like an episode of Takeshi's Castle than a game of football. Ref is honking, absolutely honking.
  21. Not a believer of the 'imagine if he stayed he would've banged them in' there's too many variables as when players leave and they start performing. The 'rejection' itself could be a factor into his output, drop in division and therefore level all will play a part. However, I always look to see how he's getting on and what if he did stay. I expect a bottom - mid table Champ club or even one of the relegated sides to move for him in the summer.
  22. Brilliant.... one I don't have access to.
  23. Other than any witty references to bodies of water, does anyone have an online stream please?
