Can’t be bothered to read through the thread so apologies if there’s an echo… I had a very interesting chat with a senior figure at an EFL club regarding the comments last night. Basically said their club wouldn’t replicate what Saints are doing unless the player is imminently (72 hours) going to be sold or disciplinary reasons. So if Everton are ‘way off’ and refusing to budge. Why are we ‘protecting’ Tyler from possible suitors who aren’t seriously at the table yet? At what point does WS/JS reinstate him? He’s still one of our better players and would add to the group significantly. Effectively there’s two potential red flags here; the club have lied/downplayed the status of TD deal(s). or We’ve made a poor ‘footballing’ decision and have someone needlessly not involved with the squad. IMO Tyler should be in the squad (if fit & performing) for Wrexham.

tbh... it's hard to argue your points really lads. It might be just be me being bit of a fanny. I'm basing it on Dibling and Edozie going without being replaced significantly... Fellows doesn't quite do it for me from what I've seen (rather limited).

They have zero fucking clue these two. The whopper talking about Pompey has literally read a tweet from a well known (bit of a whopper) football analyst in Pompey and passed the knowledge off as his own. Am I the only one who thinks we're weaker than the group that came down last time?

I mean I'm basing this on total boredom but we could potentially see the following events: Aribo, Dibling & Fernandes (crying) depart replaced by Fellows, Rudoni & another? Wonder if we 'go back in' for Rak-Sakyi.

Genuine question, why would Romeu be at the training ground? Negotiations wouldn’t happen there, he’s seen the training ground before. The only reason he would be there is for media/announcement reasons. If he was there, I’d expect him to be announced today.

According to the ever credible Sportbible and Skybet… we’re officially the ‘hardest done by fans’ in the country according to the latest research. Thanks to Russball, Dyson COO and Jason Wilcox.

Just taken in a bit of nostalgia and watched some highlights from 1999, he’s looked mustard in all three clips. I would’ve been around 8/9 when he was with us and was gutted he left. (Joining Villa after giving his word to Ipswich) Given he was a fairly key player for us, why did he/we run down his contract? Was he bit of a dick? Did we sign Tahar El-Khalej to sweeten him?

It's a bit passive so far... very interested to see what Downs adds to the front line. They look a bit crap at playing through the thirds from goalkeeper - frustrating seeing how relaxed we are when there's clearly an error in the back 4/GK from goal kicks. I also fear I'm gonna fall in love with Quarshie.

I'm a big fucking fan of that. Proper Le Tiss and Ostenstad vibes.

A few Twitter whispers that the David Brooks deal has been hijacked. With us and Birmingham mentioned.

Same bloody venue Pompey have been using this week.

They won’t have to endure it for next season. There’s now disability seating in the away end. Bravo to that chap… he would’ve had venomous pelters for 90 minutes that evening.

We've recently been pulling together some of our favourite photos/images in football for a print workshop we're hosting through work. Which has pulled up some absolute gems Materazzi/Rui Costa, Nike's Joga Bonito campaign, R9 and Baggio. Some are in 4K and some are the grainy/edgy polaroid style you'll find on Instagram or some Classic Football Shirt wannabe shop wall. So what's your favourite(s) Saints related image you've been able to capture or just pinched from the web? (cue the Lucy Pinder in a shirt and Ian Dowie photo).

I’ve been fortunate to get a signed shirt from the squad after the play off final. I’m now looking to get my hands on a paper/official issue ticket and programme (some for sale online) to go in the frame with it. Please shouting you’re happy to part ways with either item.

You should’ve heard the noise that came out of me in Morrisons when I saw they scored the second. We all must of done something awful in a past life to deserve this. Whole thing is utter wank.

Ditto.

Ever since we switched to Puma.

It’s all they’ve sung about today.

Agree. Begbies Traynor and Jan Poortvliet did a better job.

Ronnie Edwards taking some absolute pelters at Fratton Park early on.

You're a proper whopper you. Shirts are already in the bin, SFC mouse mat shredded and signed MLG photo taken down. But as per my original point, I'm glad you share the same frustrations that a loan to an EFL club would've been a more beneficial move for the club rather than a premature sale given an impending relegation.

One for the FA Cup. Burnley came to town on Saturday, utterly, utterly woeful football side. The two CB's are steady and James Trafford is very good (bit of an odd bloke).
