Saints shirt to a Pompey game vs Tranmere aged 6/7. Parents were splitting up at the time, a couple of weeks earlier I went to my first Saints game vs Everton under the lights. I was then taken to Fratton Park in April, Dad told my Mum I was going to the football so she naturally assumed Saints, so put me in the Saints shirt under my jacket. Took my jacket off and got battered (verbally), had a steward approach my Dad and told me to turn it inside out, even had two old dears stick up for me and say leave me alone. I remember my Dad taking me to the toilet and he was getting hammered, I didn't understand at the time. Pretty sure he had a few words with my Mum when we got back.

Na, I can vouch he was very decent in the majority. Occasional slip or error but you'd grant that for the style of play and especially his age at the time. His distribution was so much better at Pompey and they would usually play from him much quicker than we do.

Enjoyed that. My god I wanted Delgado to be decent back in the day. He looked horrendous in that cameo with the exception of a flick.

I’ve been hoping we had this template brought back for a long time and now it’s here… I’m not sure. Sponsor looks wank and would’ve looked better in black/white. Black trim on the arm perhaps? Looks better on Mara than JWP. GK kits looks shite, just reminds me of how skit the keepers were last season. Annoyed I never brought the relaunched retro kit back in 2021.

PS how shit are we as a fan base? relegation battle and the stadiums full of families or a couple of old girls with their bobble hats on. Appreciate the performances are flat but even when we occasionally score, it's a cheer of 'relief' rather than sheer cunty, nutty limbs and aggression.

However, all of them would require a number of assurances and a bloody large survival bonus. I really don’t like the links with Gerrard, Nuno and especially Marsch (I think culturally American managers/coaches will struggle in the UK). Intrigued by Bielsa, I reckon it’ll be caranage if he came in.

Respect to them fronting it. However, it's categorically not good enough. It's pretty simple, I'm beyond caring about the result Saturday (ish), I want St Mary's to be so venomous so it's crystal clear we want Nathan Jones out. Jones's performance AND conduct has been nothing short of a disgrace. I can hack going down, just not under him.

What do the board actually expect the fan base to do for the Wolves game if they don't sack him? I'd go as far as saying he's hated by number of the fanbase and severely disliked by the majority. it'll be toxic. He's going to get peppered by supporters and St Mary's isn't going to be very pleasant on Saturday, which will magnify if(when) we lose to Wolves. It's public knowledge a number of players dislike him, why run the risk of further damage at Staplewood. Even if they don't feel there's a better option out there right this minute, he's surpassed underperforming with his conduct to the supporters, players and media. The irony is, I got to know a very good hard working man lose his job in the EFL this year and he was totally devastated he lost his job. It made me really reflect on that these are blokes are Husbands, Fathers, Friends and that supporters need to wind their necks in at times. However NJ has made me dismiss that attitude and he deserves to know his conduct AND performance is not acceptable.
