Real and PSG never looked at Gavin. However, he is rated so highly by Pompey, some rate him more than David James. Also worth remembering the Michael Poke connection who is the lead GK coach at Pompey and worked with Gav last season. Off the pitch he's a cracking lad, very unassuming and keeps himself to himself, put him in an 18 yard and you see a different side. Made two mistakes last season attempting to 'play out from the back' which are the exception, his ability in possession typically is excellent both with the ball on the floor and in his hands. I witnessed arguably the greatest live save I've seen last season at FP from Gavin, so I have nothing other than positive things to say about him.

Looking for any articles/videos/drawings of the planned extension/waterfront purchase that was provisionally announced many years ago, around 2012. I believe it was the same architects that redeveloped Staplewood. Been looking at a number of new designs and plans of clubs, Everton's is pretty impressive to be fair to them. (Might be delayed now though!).

I've worked with Ettiene twice, talented goalkeeper as a kid and has done well in France.

The bloke by all accounts is bit of a bellend but credit where it's due, he was the original one waxing lyrical about futsal/futbol de Salao ( or whatever it was originally called). The FA had a 3/4 year spell where it really pushed Futsal which recently lost a majority of its funding after COVID. Nationally, grassroots clubs and leagues promote it especially in their foundation phases, as it encourages ball mastery and dominating 1v1's (it's also actually very good at teaching players to steal possession rather than tackle* as you cannot slide). Incredibly good game to help get fit as it's very demanding physically! Any of you coaching your kids teams, I'd highly recommend looking at using it to support your players, shame the Futsal Level 1 & 2 has been suspended.
