He had one great game early last season and then disappeared. What we need this season is 100% fitness - physical and more importantly mental - from beginning to end of the season. All our young players have talent, or they wouldn't be in the squad. What they need this year, is to apply that talent BUT when it isn't working, just muck in and fight with the team. Grind out a performance, playing badly but WORKING hard.

He needs to bulk up and get stuck in. Leaping out of the way of tackled is how you get your legs broken! The kid has talent but he's got to get bigger and stronger.

Mainly agree with that Corky. Jacket made the right move bringing Price on and that caused us to lose balance and shape. AP responded by going 4-5-1 which I thought was a bit negative. But the manager's assessment sounded about right to me, so we have to hope the lads he is bringing in will give us the spine we need!!

It took five years, three Chairmen, some bizarre business decisions and administration and then we found a buyer. In that time we have fallen three leagues and could easily fall one more. Pompey could be bought in the next week, and in four months be comfortably mid-table and safe in the Premiership.
