  1. I've got the fix, I changed the timer so it came on at 7:30 - result Seriously, there must be an airblock somewhere for it to make that noise. Get your friendly plumber in for £60 call out to fix it for you. You've done all I would have, complete drain of the system and then bleed the rads should have fixed it. If not, air is getting into the system somehow causing the knocking sound. Alternative, you need a priest as you've got spiritual beings causing it.
  2. Ahhhh you've got no kids then. Those who have morals will stretch to their limits if pushed. Those who have successfully sponged off the state will continue to do so unless something's done about it. That's all I'm saying. I could have 10 kids by now along with a lot of folks on the forum. I didn't because I couldn't afford it. I have standards and pay my way.
  3. Nope, someone has to go out to work and earn a living for their family rather than sitting there expecting the state to pay them for their children. We all make decisions every day and most of us accept the consequences. This is no different. You can have family benefit for 2 children but have a third and you're on your own. What's the problem there?
  4. I'd love to see us play at Wembley this year. Currently this is the best opportunity so I'm supporting the team through and through.....
  5. The cup has just been opened up
  6. lol - Just a taster, the council settled out of court because the mother in law broke her hip by falling down a huge pot hole just outside the ground. Granted we had been in the pub all morning but she's a tee total so when I picked her up and told her not to be so stupid and it didn't hurt... I kinda had to eat my words when she had to have a hip replacement at the nearest hospital to Wembley... I did successfully manage to argue that by the time that she was seen in the ED the game might be over - so me and the missus may as well watch the game whilst she and her hubb were off in the ambulance with the blues and twos
  7. Fair enuff but I've never done martial arts but a lot of athletics and my wife tells me I'm very annoying because I'm one of the calmest, non-confrontational people she's ever met. That comes from a great upbringing and a respect for the elders tbh. I'm not a walk over though, but martial arts I don't feel I ever needed
  8. Years past I'd look forward to the draw. However tonight doesn't really interest me as I know we're good for any team that plays us. Ooo, It's ManUre - so? We drew with them Ooo, It's Man City - so? etc. etc. No fun anymore, we're just too good
  9. Cheers - I got 4 x JPT final tickets but unfortunately only two of us made the final, the other two were taken away in an ambulance outside Wembley before the game kicked off (long story!)
  10. Definitely time to turn in as I agree with everything that Turkish just said nearly. ERK! (although not sure where the martial art comes in - is that linked with the travelling?)
  11. Does having a season ticket give you that option though? So far I've been to no away games due to kids & work (although obviously I've been to every home game as a ST holder). had a chat to a mate the other day that my first away game will probably be Fulham and he said that I might not get a couple of tickets for that game as I hadn't been to other away games - really?
  12. Married my third wife first so I didn't have to go through the pain of the first two
  13. You're taking this out of context. I was talking about those unemployed folks who claim child benefit and continue to replicate with no expectation of going to work because the benefit system pays them more than they can get if they worked.
  14. And there in lies the issue. How will we get them to pay for us in years to come when we give their parent(s) all they want for sitting on their arse(s) and doing nothing day in and day out. We need to instil that state benefits are not a given.
  15. Initially read this and thought of a Chinese state but the more I think about it the more I agree. There always needs to be an 'exception' list but that list needs to be those who have had twins+ as their second child naturally or on IVF which should be accepted but after that no benefits for additional children. I've got a feeling though the majority of our tax payments assigned to child benefits are those with 1 or 2 children who have no interest whatsoever in working and regardless whether it's 1 or 10 children they would never do a days work in their life.
  16. I swear that wheelie bin moved more than Berbatov....
  17. As I tweeted today, I thanked Southampton FC for not only putting on a fairground but also supplying the clowns for our team to play against.
  18. I only posted an 18 second video ffs :D
  19. Yes he did but he didn't score
  20. [video=youtube_share;z6E0V5X0z5k]
  21. Sir Alex was wearing a black and white tie today - thought he'd have changed it at half time..
  22. Wow - impressive - and you wonder why your boss isn't happy and is pulling you back in line? It'd be interesting to see how many people on this thread have had 'verbal' warnings in their work. I've been employed for 20+ years and never had a verbal warning. I've been a manager for 15 years and only ever given one verbal warning and one gross misconduct sacking.
  23. OK, so I know that this might not seem saints related from the title but I've just received this email from Saints - surely some mistake? Perhaps they are branching out aka Avram Grant?
