  1. Regardless of whats going on with AL and LS I think that a top striker is the order of the day. Assuming that the new man plays similar tactics then a player like those mentioned is what is needed. It was evident last year that despite having large quantities of the ball we struggled to create meaningful chances and for me that was down to not having adequate striking options
  2. I see that Bony has been priced at 19m, for me Id pay that, or very close to it. Either him or Benteke or Welbeck for me but generally speaking Id break the bank for a striker we were crying out for last year.
  3. Mad ? This only really proves to highlight how far from the mark you are to be honest. But you can question whatever you like poppet, intelligence or football form much the same medium of ineptitude for you lad
  4. Your persistance to deflect attention away from the fact you are far far away from forming a coherant and relevant opinion is admirable. You are out of your depth, are you a motivational hockey coach from Canada ?
  5. I stick with what I said post 1558 on this thread, if he does indeed hand in a transfer request then it says more about the landscape at the club right now rather then Adam as a player and a person. You dont, for me, get that much of a change of heart and head if everything was rosie in the background
  6. If the need arises then I might, Mayuka looked a world beater on Youtube, then the reality hit
  7. This really, plus the games he played this season for me he still looks a man with talent, the last few games towards the end of the season he played he looked like he could certainly add something to the team. I just think we need a bit of stability, and regardless of opinion he has been here a while now, look how Sunderland coped with major upheaval in their playing department. I just dont think the team under Poch could include both AL and GR, personally I think if AL leaves it will open the door for Gaston. For me its certainly worth the risk. A loan with no money coming the other way would be a definate no from me.
  8. Its a bit like your contributions to the board but we all still stick by you bud
  9. Every time you post seems to confirm that you know very little about the game
  10. This He was also a massive bellend, please dont ever compare the two again
  11. The board have offered relatively little clarification to where their direction is not only to the fans but as I understand it not really to the players or originally to MoPo either. Therefore it would be, for me, if I was in ALs position, difficult to reach a decision about where my future lies. Should a clarification of the clubs ambition have been forthcoming and shoukd it have been all but matching that of our star players Im sure that the unrest would have been a lot less then it is now. They have hardly covered themselves in glory since their inception as the new board have they ? Manager and legend has left and Cork/Fonte (the latter is a massive dressing room influence) have been left in the lurch. Whilst IF it is AL agitating for a move then that would be v v dissapointing for a lad thats always been v pro Saints I cant see it occuring without some sort of background trouble (as Blackmore alludes to) also I dont think RL would have slipped out the back door with the same pace as he did either. Somethings up, their is unrest in the camp and the future is certainly hazy at best.
  12. Much better statement from the board, it still for me hinges on performance over the summer window and if Im honest I still dont trust them but they seem to be communicating better.
  13. Its probably based on a new board, financial difficulties and that nasty NC overspending dangerously
  14. Too true... I certainly hated our positive years under cortese, so much happier with the uncertainty
  15. You cant judge anything on transfer prices as the markets too volatile, too difficult to compare and representative of far too many variables including emotional and irrational purchases. So basically, trying to compare anything is rediculous.
  16. How is NC to blame ?!? How is MoPo to blame !? Reed maybe, Krueger maybe but then they are under KLs employment and essentially allowing NC to leave has enabled the period of instability. I support the board but certainly dont trust any of them, including KL
  17. Yup, the gaston, lovren and wanyama ones just dissapointing
  18. I love it "No way its me mate, I have the exact same opinion, posting style amd wear the same nappies, but I dont even know the bloke, Im from Birmingham and completely new to the forum.......... That glasgows always beena nob though"
  19. Oh behave Dibden, I actually dont mind you as a poster but the deniers on here are pretty laughable
  20. If she thinks that she can progressively move a club in the PL forward by avoiding spending money and selling your better players she has been grossly misinformed
  21. 19 or not he seems infinately more informed and articulate then yourself
  22. **** off glasgow
