  1. Yeah pretty much, Ive not done Krav but have done a bit of BJJ in my time, which is possibly a bit useless to an extent in this instance but once the knifes gone it comes into its own Agree though, these situations I imagine pay to stop him however you can, as quickly as possible, and surely if there’s more than one of you up to the task throwing shit etc at him that shouldn’t be a mammoth task, the issue arises when everyone decides to just run but I do appreciate people will be scared etc Like you say they have bags, if one or two of them came in swinging surely they’d likely be ok
  2. Id like to think, in an open space where alternative weapons (sticks, branches, stones, rocks a fucking dustbin) must be available, and where other parents are present, that Id have more than enough motivation to stop the cunt, or atleast try I couldn’t live with myself if I stood by and my own or even anyone elses kids were seriously injured
  3. I think I read on twitter (although im absolutely unfamiliar with Nottingham) that it was an area known for drug dealing etc so could be drug related
  4. I suppose it depends if he had relegation clauses in his contract
  5. I mean… he’s allowed an opinion, Im not at any point telling him he can’t have it, Im just exercising my right to call out his clear lunacy in much the same way you’re attempting to discredit anybody who’s opinions you don’t believe in I was ‘duped’ to taking 3 of the vaccines I suppose, but mainly because I ccould understand the logic of attempting to create an immunity in those most likely to catch it, and thus reduce the spread… I mean… its a slightly easier to digest logic to that of a pre planned genocide conducted by Bill Gates
  6. I have absolutely no ambition to see Armstrong in a Saints shirt any longer tbh
  7. Frankly for anybody to say data = bad shows they have absolutely no idea how modern football is conducted at the higher ends of the sport Whether we have been particularly good at understanding and applying the data led approach is the real conversation here
  8. Please for the love of god tell me this is sarcasm
  9. So thats Daniel Farke then
  10. I think one things for sure, signing a manager (well.. sort of.. we’ve managed to make a mess of that even if I agree with the sentiment) early was good work from us, but realistically I hope we are putting the groundwork in early whilst Leicester and Leeds are in relative disarray Leicester need a manager and need to understand their outgoings before they can consider strengthening for a promotion push (although they’ll remain a strong outfit imo) Leeds need to ratify the takeover, find a manager AND a DoF (probably) again before figuring out how they’ll strengthen, they worry me the most as I anticipate a decent spend from them this year
  11. The point Im making is there are very few teans able to put together a championship squad of up and coming players and see that squad be kept relatively the same into a prem season, it doesn’t happen for a few reasons; 1. Any decent talent is cherry picked before long, whether you remain a Champ side or bottom half Prem side any talent is gone before potential is realised 2. Despite Rasmus’ statement suggesting otherwise the gulf between Champ and Prem is too large, and so you will need to likely reinforce when you reach the PL anyway As such, the standard MO for Championship promotion is to build a cohesive squad with a bit if experience that can get you up, then add some talent to that in your first premiership year to try to survive and then assess from there
  12. Im not really sure what the “only passes sideways and backwards” hate is anyway English football fans have an obsession of getting the ball forward at all costs, but frankly much of this season our ability in possession has been stiffled by awful attacking movement at which point we have to maintain possession, Im sure the likes of JWP/Lavia woukd love to have made more progressive passes but its not always an option JWP has created 74 chances this year anyway, I appreciate many would likely be set pieces Grimes would be a great addition to a team looking to progress in the Champ this year imo
  13. Problem is you need almost more experience in the champ then you do in the prem, especially if we’re starting a rebuild of sorts I almist expect to build a team to get us promoted, with a smattering of youthful talent and then largely re assess if/when we make it back to the prem
  14. If this is a representation of how the majority of ‘Joe Public’ think then we’re all absolutely fucked
  15. The main issue with conspiracists… is they preach that they want to have discussions about things, and when they get their ‘theories’ decimated by science and reason they disappear back into their holes ignoring said reasoning
  16. I actually thought, after looking at a few youtubes of him, that he’d have enough to be a force in the prem He unfortunately didnt get enough time under Jones, and then was, I thought at the time, under utilised by Selles Reality was he just wasn’t cut out for the prem, too slow, too lethargic and without the touch required It was likely an overpriced panic buy that was to suit a manager that was a dead man walking… to be honest he is a walking personification of our recruitment this season
  17. As for Matt… he is a nice guy, atleast when you’re infront of him talking to him of which I have had the pleasure of conversing with But I can’t help but question the pysche and motivation of someone who would gladly attempt to mislead people online whether gullibly or intentionally
  18. Thats annoying, they’ll have a pot to piss in now
  19. Whoever wins gets to send him to the other team ?
  20. But you have to understand there was a requirement to do something, and going to a tried and tested science around dealing with pandemics was pretty obvious, its not like it was an isolated case, the whole world took that approach We couldn’t lock down everytime it spiked, we couldn’t allow it to just spread due to health system strains So the obvious move was mass vaccination… not really sure what everyone’s expecting to happen in the next ‘years’ are we all going to become zombies or something?
  21. I mean… the first vaccine was carried out in 1796, virtually eradicating smallpox and vaccines are some of the most widely studied and scrutinised medical practices in the world, with some of the highest safety requirements So I’d say yeah, probably one of the biggest scientific breakthroughs ever, especially in medical science I don’t have full clarity, I don’t have full clarity on a great many subjects and Im far from an expert on vaccines, but Im comfortable with the science… weirdly there are a great many substances that we all chuck in our bodies on a daily basis that has less safeguards around them than vaccines, but it doesn’t get the same internet clicks
  22. The ‘it’ll be boring if we all agree’ mantra is a very tired and lazy statement too, this is a forum and there is a great deal of things that is worthy of discussion but that doesn’t mean absolutely everything is there to be debated, for instance, we could argue the sky is red… but you’d be incorrect Vaccine viability has been shown to have been incredibly effective in extending not only human but also a great many animal lifespans and improved our way of life immeasurably.. its one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs ever Your Dr cousin could of course go against this way of thinking but Id suggest he is in the wrong line of work if he does
  23. Im not convinced believing that the Ukraine war or Vaccine viability is an ‘opinion’ to be honest I’m going to apply Hitchens Razor on this one
