It's disappointing that Kanu is playing into Birch's hands like this. Can we send a PTS delegation over to Nigeria to persuade him to go to the rec with the other players and kick a ball?
Yep, it was Manchester City council's investment in the Commonwealth Games. It's been a win-win for the council and the club, because it's an outstanding stadium and it's helped rejuvenate the area around it. (As St Mary's could yet do...)
There is one club we'll play this season where you can do this completely guilt-free - and you can jump up and down to your heart's content when we score even though you may be surrounded by diehard home fans...
Thanks for the graph God. So all new stadiums should be made of wood.
(By the way, don't want to be picky with you of all people, but that graph only goes up to 2007 - since when the world economy has been turned upside down and inside out.)
They've already fined him about a year's wages for being gullible enough to sign a PFC contract. I'm not sure there's a lot more they can squeeze out of the poor old chap.
As tacky and inappropriate as that Jackson statue is, you won't find many Fulham fans complaining about it. Fayed has sunk more than £200m of his own money into the club, and charges annual interest on the loan of less than 1%.
