  1. Until 4th novermber accoridng to the official site. Says he's quick and powerful, defo a jaidi look-a-like. Was hoping it was gonna be the liverpool striker Eccleston or Agoo but we'll take this. Didnt fancy antonio when we signed him but look what he turned into.
  2. Fergie

    Fonte off?

A transfer request...after the transfer window shut!? cant see that happening.
  3. dunno...just trying to sell my item!! thought i'd be cheeky! He would add a bit of competition for places in the middle though...if we dropped hammond or schneiderlin it would be wotton or pulis to replace them...feel ham and spider need someone to look over their shoulders at perhaps...same with rickie too.
  4. We should sign the guy who used to wear this shirt... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?25451-Southampton-away-kit-8-Oakley&p=856814#post856814
  5. ends within the hour... ...in perfect condition, happy bidding if you decide to http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190445832979&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
  6. a dislocated shoulder is aparantly one of the most painful injuries to do...minus breaking a bone of course... ...my housemate did it this week and he's a keeper, been told he wont play for around 3 months. 3 days into it he has it out of the sling but it'll be ages until he can save a full power shot, very little range of movement because of the ligaments and tendons that have been injured. Tendons will only extend 6% of their length before repturing, not sure if frazer did that but if he did then any contact will be sore and weight training out of the question. I reptured my calcaneous ligament last september...and its still not fully healed as i did not have professionla help. i have just started training again with my university team. Can be very complex to get right depending on the type of tear. when i read he was out i thought it would be around 3 months until he was playing reserve football but we will see. p.s i study sport and exercise science at uni...thats why i am ITK.
  7. Be playing Eastleigh soon at this rate...is there anything positive to take from this game!?
  8. this is a joke...faith in the team officially lost...glad i stayed at home and watched sky sports news all afternoon... ...would love saints to prove me wrong in the next 5 mins please!!
  9. Because he txt Pardew after the bristol rovers game asking why pardew didnt play Guly for longer!! and i am ITK, know someone who was on the coach that day
  10. Yeah I'll do it
  11. Martin O'Neill was at the Orient game last saturday...that's all I'm saying!
  12. Do people realise Martin O'Neill was at the Leyton Orient game last sat!!?? My foingers pointing his way for that, but not sure as a league one club we'd be able to get him!! But why would he be at the game otherwise!! Zola does seem to make sense however with the italian connection at all. Time will tell.
  13. Cup win 76 - Not even thought of...parents were not even married!! Keegan signed - Again not even born yet! Saints put the sixth past Man Utd when Egil scored- Sat in my season ticket seat, aged around 14/15 i think in the family stand, downstairs, back row in line with the centre line. WHAT a game, still love it when they show the goals on premier league years every now and again. St Marcus passes away - Was at work, phone is going mad in my pocket, 8 txts, 3 bbm messages and facebook inboxes...not a nice evening at work at all!! One special moment for you - First ever goal i ever saw...Saints 1 Vs 0 Wimbledon (not sure what year, maybe 93/94), Le Tissier free kick, think it was Maddison who played it back to him, he flicks it up and volleys it into the top right corner...awesome!! What a guy.
  14. Hate to start a thread non saint markus but felt this deserved a mention!! What an atmosphere last night in the northam...not sure i have ever heard any song sung for so long whilst being at a game. Was sat in block 41 last night and my hands are still sore from hitting the perspex at the back of the stand during the epic amount of time we sung the song. It certainly geered the team up and i expect nothing less than great support like that the rest of the season. Twice during us singing it the bournemouth fans tried to drown us out only to realise when they had stopping singing that we were still going and only getting lounder...right round the corner of the northam/kingsland and even spread down the kingsland stand everyone was singing...and blocks 6-7 and maybe 8 joined in too. Resulting in whilst singing Lallana popped up with an awesome finish...Great atmosphere, Great end to the game, promising signs of things to come...loss of voice comes second to a good night with saints fans. Those who were there will no doubt have enjoyed it as much as i did!
  15. Nice, i like that draw. Give Super Kev a nice cheers, give some stick to Matty Taylor...and a good chance of winning and progressing. 4-5-1 with lallana and punch pushing as strikers perhaps? Rickie up top causing havoc. Reckon its our turn to cause an upset to prem teams!! I for one will be attending for sure. Lets win some silverware for Markus
  16. For sure this has to happen. Someone who has links to Cortese should make him aware of this, start a poll and show the results to him...i am sure it would be 100% in favour of this. Great idea.
  17. You saved our club from extinction, you shared the same dreams for the club that we as supporters did, you were highly respected by all who knew of you and most of which never had the pleasure of meeting you. What a guy and what a loss to all. May you rest peacefully in heaven. God bless.
  18. I think pardew will play the strongest side he can afford to. He always talks about getting the winning mentality into the team and how important it is so why would he play reserves and risk losing 2 home games on the trot... ...i fully expect to see rickie play tonight, if not he'll at least be on the bench. The winning mentality starts tonight, be there if you wanna go home with a smile on your face.
  19. IF/when pompey go bust bournemouth will in fact be our closest rivals...perhaps this is a curtain raiser for a future rivalry as i for one cannot see pompey getting out of the the mess they are in!!
  20. at least some of us are up for it. If people are true fans they'd turn up. some of us went to every single JPT game last season and just watched the rest gradually jump on the band wagon to the point where i nearly didnt get a ticket to wembley. Some people need a lesson in how to support their club through thick and thin, good and bad games.
  21. too many sh1t fans at this club. will be an embarrasment if the attendance is not at least 20,000. this is a local rivalry game and one which we should all be excited to go and see. Get behind your ****ing team you support, have a few beers, sing some songs together and have a good time seeing your club win. Either that or go and support another club who might charge less for a ticket to she sh1tter teams play (eastleigh perhaps). Not enough real fans at this club anymore. I'm getting the train from Chichester tonight for the game and then back after...so its not ecatly easy and cheap for me either damn some fans p1ss me off!! rant over!
  22. we'd better get a good turn out then because otherwise its going to be a bit of a shambles on our behalf. the tickets are cheap and we wnat an atmosphere. I think the attendence will be similar to saturday but would hope with it being a derby as such that we'd get closer to 25,000 than 20,000
  23. anyone know how many tickets have been sold so far? I think Bournemouth will most probably sell out their section for the game, you think we might get a decent attendence? Sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere.
  24. Did any of the pompey fans get arrested or was it all saints?? I'm pretty sure they were not angels that day and havent heard of any of their fans getting arrested or sentenced...although i dont know the ins and outs of the court case.
  25. I agree with that...
