Only if chopped up and used for firewood.

Do you need a loan?

...or simply abstain from any topic of political and religious discussion - especially on an internet forum for football matters. Works a treat

There seems to be a lot of name calling going on here. I am sure if you explained why you thank God "first and foremost" for the position SFC are in, we can all move on.....

No!!! - I hated that song with a passion.

I have done it before. The only proof of id they required was that I knew my (his) account number and address. In fact, I didn't know the address so I phoned him and asked him ( in front of the ticket agent ) and they didn't bat an eyelid. Just handed over the tickets (Brighton away).

I don't know

I thought you said they had shedloads of money?

What a strange thread to post that on.......but I did enjoy the read thanks.

I think they were referring to the likely outcome after he has taken a shot, rather than his ability to strike a free-kick or corner
-
Still gives away too many freekicks though - although so did/does Paul Scholes.

They were indeed. I went by Princess Summerbee coach from West End to Spurs once (aged about 16). The coach driver let us all off right outside the ground - so there we were 30-35 saints fans walking down White Hart Lane and I was at the front. After about 5 minutes this huge raging Spurs fan, on his own, came charging at us - fists clenched and promising (bellowing) a whole manner of atrocities he was about to inflict on us. I remember thinking "there are 30 or more of us - this bloke is committing suicide". Nevertheless, as a not so brave 16 year old, I didn't want to be the first to engage him - so I quickly made my way to the back of our group and waited for the fun. What I didn't realise was that the people I left at the front of our group seemed to have a similar idea and made their way to the back, and so did the ones they left - and so and so on. Before long - one Spurs fan could be seen chasing an entire coach load of Saints fans down the road. Not our greatest moment - but it must have looked comical to everyone else.

If ..Pompey go out of the League before May...
kpturner replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
As already mentioned, already covered in umteen places - plus they have been guaranteed £800k by the football league that should see them complete the season. -
Don't do it!!! The Northam stand is great from a distance, but actually being in there is like being imprisoned in an asylum

I was assuming that, given the timing of the OP's question, it was prompted by the Ipswich game.....unless his research/memory is so bad that he cannot remember the last game we played
-
Found it! It was 22 Feb 1975 and we lost 0-1 Doh!
-
Since the question was "went 1-0 up at home and didn't win" then the last time would be Blackpool this season wouldn't it?
-
Actually I lied - my first match was a 1-1 at home to Bolton. God knows when it was but it was in the early '70's. Stood in a half empty Archers Road terrace. Can anyone help me find out when it was? All I can remember is that they scored first and we equalised, but I am not even sure about that.
-
I was pretty silent after the equalised......and before tbh

Lewis McGugan?!!!

48 (well for a few more days anyway). West End. First game was the Channon testimonial after winning the FA Cup in 1976. First away game - buggered if I can remember, but it would have been some time in 1977. We used to buy coach tickets for away matches from Princess Summerbee in West End on the way home from school for a couple of quid.

Well, having established that you won't be using that awful americanism, please refrain from using "my bad" as well. It makes me want to vomit whenever I see/hear it being used by a non-American (assuming you are not American that is)
-
Quite possibly

What a miserable old git!

I guess that depends on whether or not there is some doubt in your mind that your preference is still available
