Every weekends fixtures from now on are significant. There is nothing particularly MASSIVE about this weekend other than it may be more significant than last weekend but equally less significant than the following weekend. By the time we get to play Reading I think that we can start talking about MASSIVE (if we are both still in the top 3).

It's been a good couple of years but you have to bear in mind the level of opposition. Some of the teams/squads we had during 27 years of top flight football would be better than this lot (but one or two would be worse). Even looking at that video of the saints/spurs FA cup tie that we eventually lost 6-2 I thought that we were playing a much faster passing game then than we do now.

Bit disappointing that you cannot fly from Southampton to Humberside. Is the nearest airport (connected to Southampton) Leeds/Bradford?

Soccer AM in the morning followed by a short trip up the road to Watford to watch a 3-0 win. Great day all round. Had to pursuade a steward to let us out for a pint before the game once we realised no alcohol on sale in the ground.

Apart from the fact that it was Puncheon's superb cross field pass to lambert who headed it to Lee who should have scored but won a penalty instead. I actually thought Lee had a great game. Good runs and great "toe-in" tackles especially in the second half.

I thought it was definitely a pen. Lee went for the rebound and got shoved over.

To be fair - we played a lot of hoofball also. Maybe under instructions if the pitch wasn't up to much after the rugby that gets played on it.
