That's excellent, hope we get it going like that tomorrow night

The 'la la la la la la' bit is done by Liverpool fans when they do their version of this tune for Fernando Torres. Um Bongo suggested it I think... Sounds like it sounds good though, can't wait for tomorrow.

Southampton (81 miles from London) is only approx. 20 more miles away from London than what Oxford is (63 miles)... Mileage according to AA route planner. London Southampton Airport anyone?

It was post #77. Here they are: He stands just over 6 foot 3, Rickie, Rickie, He’ll take us to the Premier League, Rickie, Rickie, He gets the ball, he takes the ****, He wears the shirt of Matt Le Tiss, Rickie Lambert, Southampton's Goal machine. By Um Bongo and RedAndWhite91

What does all ticket mean? -
Looks excellent, always been a fan of Fifa, can't wait for this one.

You could hand them out in the ground, tell people to pass them on perhaps.
-
Haha nice one, don't worry, tis a good idea printing them out though.

Yes my excitement got the better of me in that post...

Some drunk lad shouted something like "OIOI SOUTHAMPTTONNN" at me on Magaluf strip when I was on holiday there wearing my Saints top, in true English holidaymaker fashion. Also saw a lad in the home strip on the same night, but I think they all went to my college anyway. Small world.

What an absolute palava, went down Friday morning and a man told me to come back Monday at 9'oclock. So was down St. Mary's this morning at 9 and they told me the courier would get here with the tickets at 11. So I rang them at 11 and they said he was getting there at 12. Got down the stadium at about 12:30 and they had all gone and they requested another 250 for which I had to wait til 3 o'clock. Luckily 3 tickets came up as a cancellation and I nabbed them, after which news came through the courier was stuck in traffic and would get there at 3:30. At this point the queue was growing and growing. Never leaving it late again. -
Excellent, pleased to hear that it got sung a bit, well happy with that!!! That's a pretty sound idea too, if it will make it catch on then go for it, don't mind at all (You should put 'by RedAndWhite91 and Um Bongo' at the bottom though ). I just got my tickets for Swindon so I will be there singing it proudly tomorrow night... Can't wait Thanks Corrrr I am well excited something I have helped do is going to be sung by Saints fans! :D

Kelvin Davis? Dan Harding? Graeme Murty? Rickie Lambert? Our players are not ****. How can you say we have a load of **** players. That is not rational thought. We are League One now, not Premiership, we have a better squad than most teams in this division. Two games into the season and already we are witnessing the negativity us Saints fans are becoming known for.

Inexperienced yes, but now is the time for him to shine. He has played in this league before (Don't forget he won a League One playoff final )and now the time is right for him to step up to the mark. He has got the ability and there is no better time than now for him to really push on and perform.

Huddersfield are up there with Millwall and Leeds as one of the better teams in this league. Let's not get too downhearted, although we do need more players to strengthen the team, it is early days yet.

Gotta agree with this sentiment, I thought Gillett was one of the few positives gained from last season, he looked very promising and active, and I struggle to understand how Wotton is higher up in the pecking order. I'm not criticising Pardew or anything like that, as it is important to get behind the team, but Gillett should be in that team, he has a lot of promise, especially in this league.

I agree with this. Please, everyone, stand up!!

The most 'different' place you have been to
RedAndWhite91 replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Lounge
I helped deliver a £450,000 boat from Sardinia to the South of Spain, the places aren't really 'different' but the experience was amazing! It took 3 days and was one of the coolest things I've ever done. It was on one of these: -
Absolute disgrace, the Bristol players or manager should have done something if they have any idea of 'sportsmanship'... Respect the ref? How can you respect the ref when they make such horrific decisions such as this! Warnock was right when he said that it would not hurt for some matey to be sitting watching the game on a television screen, and if anything like that happened the ref could consult him. It would take 30 seconds and would avoid a complete shambles like what we saw yesterday.

Brilliant Happy with that, hopefully (if I can get tickets on Monday) get it going at Swindon too. That's my input to the Southampton fan base.

Did we sing - He stands just over 6 foot 3, Rickie, Rickie, He’ll take us to the Premier League, Rickie, Rickie, He gets the ball, he takes the ****, He wears the shirt of Matt Le Tiss, Ricky Lambert, Southamptons Goal machine I'd love it if we did.
