  1. You could always just do it in full view of the world West Ham/Millwall style?
  2. I would change our negative fans into positive ones. The football will come, but the fans won't change.
  3. Well we all hoped for similar, but it hasn't happened and we will have to adjust to that. It was never going to be easy, we were never going to 'walk this league'; not this year at least.
  4. Well that's fairly obvious isn't it. But did you honestly expect us to win 5 out of 5 games, when we played two of the best teams in this division (Millwall and Huddersfield) ? We were a Premiership club once. We weren't good enough for the Championship. Southampton, although it pains me to say it, are now a League One club, and we are going to find it as hard as anyone else. I think a poster mentioned a few minutes ago that the name 'Southampton' means nothing in this league now, and he is right, accept the fact things will be tough as we get over the negativity of last season and the cattled pre-season. As I said, things don't happen over night.
  5. Would Bournemouth fans appreciate that? They seem to think we have this massive rivalry, they might give our kids stick and that won't do any good for their confidence.
  6. They're here, they're there, they're every-****ing-where, empty seats, empty seats.
  7. I don't know the details but I am sure I have heard on this forum that whilst at Charlton Pardew was very much restricted by the board and other factors that hindered him which yes, made the spell rather bad.
  8. Notts County have still lost as many games as us
  9. "Answers 1. Where would we be without Liebherr? Somebody else would have taken over What, like Marc Jackson, or the Pinnacle matey with no money? 2. How many years did we suffer from debts 3 Poor management 5 Inconsistency 47 3. Do we have a proven manager? Not sure Pardew took Reading from this league to what is now the Championship. He took West Ham from the Championship to 8th in the Premiership and an FA Cup Final. 4. How many teams go out and win everything 5 league games after having a new manager and new owners, a total shakeup of the way the club works Not many but most win some We are only 5 games into the season!!! We still have 41 league games left!
  10. Notts County lost 1-0 to Barnet yesterday, I wonder if their fans are starting to act like ours?
  11. God forbid a player kicking a ball in a game of football! Rivaldo was a disgrace, absolute disgrace, and he should have been sent off. It's good to see people getting done for diving and cheating, as I said before, it is a disease of the game, but now Eduardo has been done, why don't they ring up Pires' dive against P*rtsmouth, or all the numerous dives Ronaldo has done and sort them out too.
  12. 1. Could be a week or two. 2. Could be a month. 3 and 4. Too early to say. It's only 5 games into the season. These things take time. 5. Not many teams get a Wembley cup final. Don't hold your breath. Now I have some questions. 1. Where would we be without Liebherr? 2. How many years did we suffer from debts, poor management and inconsistency. 3. Do we have a proven manager? 4. How many teams go out and win everything 5 league games after having a new manager and new owners, a total shakeup of the way the club works. 5. QPR are richer than us, and they haven't set the world alight. (This is a statement, not a question) The thing is, we may be rich, but this doesn't mean we are going to go out and immediately win every game. The process in which we turn around the club from near-'death' and poor management does take time, and some people need to accept that. I understand impatience and I too start to wonder the questions you have posed, but as it stands there is nothing we can do apart from give 100% in supporting our team and just be thankful we still have a team to support.
  13. Good point. Let's all sit down, get the flasks of hot chocolate out, sit there in complete silence and hope our team doesn't realise we are there.
  14. Because if we did not have this billionaire owner we would not have a club for **** sake... Things do not happen overnight.
  15. Rather them than P*rtsmouth. Imagine the idea of England travelling foreign supporters would have if they went to P*rtsmouth.
  16. Al-Fahim is set to be on SSN shortly, apparently. In other news, David James is not in the squad for today's game. Looks like he is off.
  17. This would be ideal. Fingers crossed.
  18. That would equate to a point a game... Mind you, that's not unrealistic...
  19. 5 games have gone and we are on -7 points. You now think it will be 7 games to get into the positives, but we can only get a maximum of 6 points from the next two games, meaning we will be on -1 after 7 games if we win both...
  20. Yeah I agree with this, he sounds like a real person, a decent bloke, unlike the majority of major politicians, who have been educated at Eton and have no idea of how normal life for normal people operates.
  21. I'm pretty sure we are going to get absolutely ripped apart. But that won't stop me from going up there... Mind you, I will only end up being disappointed by the result and by our away support which will most likely be more quiet than a minute's silence and as negative as -7... I am looking forward to it though.
  22. Highly doubt that, we are 11 points adrift of safety now. (I'm not saying this as if we are going down, we are only 5 games into the season, not 5 games from the end.)
  23. I much prefer Liverpool to Man Utd and Chelsea and would rather see Liverpool win the league than them.
  24. Yeah, and we easily could build a train station/stop right next to the ground with that bit of railway which already goes past it. But I do completely agree with this.
