  1. I can't work out if the OP is serious or not.
  2. Well that makes at least 7 of us then!!
  3. Watched the Dark Knight again last night, really good film, 9/10.
  4. It's alright mate i'll provide a sensible answer Basically after being introduced to the crowd at 2:50 he ran over to the Northam, clapping the crowd and doing all the usual business. Just before he was about to turn around and go back, he did the dance he does when he celebrates a goal, and it was well good.
  5. What a stupid post. Sensationalism at it's best. Ridiculous to compare him to Ali Dia.
  6. Not bad considering they have won 6 out of 6 and we are bound to have a difficult game!
  7. A similar thing happened on msn (instant messaging for all you old people) a while back, it was some sort of virus. What would happen is there would be a link with some text saying something along the lines of "zomg cant beleeve u took these photos lol" and if you clicked the link, your msn would then send that same link to all your contacts over and over again, without you even knowing ( until someone tells you). I'm not sure exactly what it did to your computer, as I didn't click it, but it was more of a nuisance than anything. This sounds similar...
  8. COLCHESTER who beat Norwich 7-1 remember
  9. Hopefully the latter, but I don't agree with the whole "we're crap" business, as today we did play some good football (although I'll admit it was limited). Things are improving I reckon, and hopefully with Waigo we will see more improvement, and hopefully, a few wins!
  10. On paper with that team we could beat anyone in this league. But in the wise (?) words of Andy Gray "football isn't played on paper, it's played on that big green thing out there". I would like to see this team line up against Charlton.
  11. Serious question - Really??
  12. Add 6 more to that total. I'm glad it's unreserved seating. Hopefully all of us who want to stand and sing for 90 minutes can group together and actually make it work.
  13. Is it something to do with one team winning the toss and choosing either kick off or what end to start from??? But yes, I do agree with you.
  14. I loved the fact he done his celebration dance in front of the Northam. Lets hope we see that a lot more in the future.
  15. I also thought we were too scared to shoot. Hammond was the only one not scared to have a go... There was too many "one touch too many's" if you get me.
  16. I thought Hammond looked really good today. He spread the ball well as well as holding it up when needed. He has good awareness and can read the game well in my opinion. He also wasn't scared to shoot, having a few good efforts on goal. I have no complaints with Hammond and think he will do well for us in the middle of the park.
  17. Exactly. We played better this evening than we did againts Swindon. A solid defence is a start, now we need a final ball from our attack and we need to take chances. In other news. The 17,000 crowd were generally noisy in the first half when we were playing the game in their half, but it quietened when the game looked as if it was heading for a 'bore draw'. Bit dissapointed we sung 'when I was a little boy...' four times in the first 10 minutes... Where's the creativity!?!?
  18. You obviously weren't at Swindon... That was a lot worse than today and it is that that makes me think we are improving. Granted, we didn't finish them off like we should when they got down to 10 men, and we didn't capitalise on our chances, but we did make chances, but we did lack firepower... Paterson was slow and unaware, getting caught offside on numerous occasions... Mellis was not up to it. However. A clean sheet, and for a change, a solid defence of which I have no complaints. Hammond was excellent. And to those who said we lacked width, we did get wide, but unfortunately our crossing and general final ball was awful. So my thoughts are that we are getting there... It's dissapointing not to get a result, we should have got a result, but we are getting there.
  19. I remember being proper surprised at the £6 million fee... I thought if we was to sell him it would have been at about £2-3 million max.!!
  20. Should be a win then - I'll change the title of the thread...
  21. Quite a pointless thread, there is no chance he will come back, we have a fairly new manager as it is, and I am happy with Pardew.
  22. Just seen a piece on Sky Sports News about Charlton. Charlton have played 5 league games, and won 5 league games. And that comes after a horrific last season in which they were the only team worse off than us (before the points deduction)... After all their losses last season they have obviously shown massive bouncebackability to hit the ground running in this league, and they have obviously shed that losing mentality in which they must have experienced last season, just like we did. Asked how they have gained a positive, winning mentality after last season, their manager said that all the players are hungry, hungry for winning games. So does this mean our players aren't hungry? Why after a similar previous season have Charlton started so well, and Southampton started so below-average? We do need to get rid of this losing mentality as soon as possible and get into a routine of winning games. We have the quality, we just need to learn how to win, to fight, to hold on, to battle and to turn one win into two. We are capable, it's just when we turn that corner is the issue.
  23. I think it is made on Soccer AM, so it must be some time this morning. http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/JPTDraws/
  24. Oiiiiiiii everyone knows FIFA is much better Well overall he is 71... Which is about 10/15/20 more 'points' than most of our other players!
  25. If the stats on FIFA09 are anything to go by, Papa Waigo is now our best player.
