  8. I'm the Urban Spaceman babe, but, here comes the twist. I don't exist
  9. Ah but this grass will be covered in copious amounts of phlegm and sn*t goblins, maybe even some blood. Who could resist?

  14. ...the 11.47 ex Wigan Springs Top Yard pick-up freight was also in trouble. The normally reliable 'Black 5' was starting to slip on the steep gradient up to Middleton Top. The driver was leant out the side peering through the snow in to the freezing night to see if the distant was on or off. The fireman had problems of his own. Water was in the bottom nut, she wasn't making steam due to a heavily clinkered grate and the needle was falling back. If she went over the top now she'd expose her crownsheet and likely drop a plug... The consequences were unthinkable. Bert had a family to feed and needed fireman's rates, he couldn't afford to fill out another 'please explain' and find himself back in the shunting links with the cleaners and cripples. He put the injector on, mortgaging the boiler, rolled a fag and tried to avoid the driver's glaring gaze....... Meanwhile.....
  15. Ok. Halifax, late January, 1937. A howling gale funnels down the icy cobbles of Corporation Street, the last tram is long gone.....long gone. A shadowy figure stumbles into view, bent against the oncoming blizzard. Meanwhile.....
  16. You're reading these points in the interpreter's voice, aren't you.
  17. Am I to believe that we will be engaged in a game of the American Baseball against the 'Sunderland Black Cats' on the morrow? I think not Sir, I think not. I am Sir, Your most humble servant, Mr P. Edant esq.

  19. A strip of purest green, my lord..
  20. Not exhaustive by any means, but my criteria are 'emotional attachment to my life at the time and/or now, few if any weak tracks and constantly listened to' motown chartbusters vol 3 - the sound at it's height. joy division - closer. Pure emotion laid bare, I'd heard nothing like it before. siouxsie - juju polly jean harvey - from 'dry' in 1992 through to 'let england shake' 2010. Each album is different from the last and I never tire, she connects to me like no other ever has done or ever will. Tried to pick one album but can't.
  21. Is she still dead?
