What ever happened to St George?
-
I blame global warming.
-
We've already discussed this. Can't you start a really interesting thread about heating a bed sit with cooker or something.
-
Glad you and your family are ok. It must have really shaken you all up. Can we have a description please.

I'm simply in awe of how a 15 year old knows so much about everything.
-
Andy knows even more about everything than Mikey. Mikey you're going to have to hand over the "Super" baton to your apprentice.

Indeed. The Conservative Party are the party of the Empire and as such managing the planet is ingrained in their psyche. Today is a proud day for Britain as we took a leading and victorious role in millitary conflict. This is what you get with a Conservative government.
-
but on the issue of Libya can we agree that he has shown that a Conservative Government is better at managing global affairs.
-
It's very meaningful. Image is everything in politics.
-
The youth of today are very shrewd.

Will you all join me in praising our Prime Minister for his role in making the Libyan revolt victorious. His role clearly shows that the Conservative Party are good at managing global affairs in contrast with Labour and their bungled war in Iraq.

Nigel Adkins......best manager we've had since Ted Bates?

Indeed. Strachan is a bottler and got out just right. -
At least the Tories can pronounce the word. Would love to hear Bean or Balls talk about "Tory Thleaze''.

Yours was a standard reply from a spotty oik employed through an agency to lick stamps, mine was from the mouth of a an official full time sfc supervisor.

I would if his capturers had their wits about them to rifle his pockets for his bag of snow.

A sad day. RIP Col.

If you read my post i've told you it's 2500. That is for definite as I queried the 3200 figure with an SFC ticket office supervisor.

We need to concentrate early doors as this is when we are most vulnerable. We are not creating many chances now Lallana is out so we have got to be solid and take our chances. Prediction. Reading 0-1 Saints.

I refuse to click links to Guardian articles. There is a great report in the Daily Mail for like minded non commies. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2050627/Southampton-1-West-Ham-0-Saints-display-title-credentials-hard-fought-win.html

They could get into anyones hands once collected. It makes no sense not to post them out.
-
Right, i've just rang the ticket office and have a few facts: 1. The allocation is 2500. 2. The police and the club got together at the start of the season and decided all the details. 3. They will not post out travel passes and the operator didn't know why and referred back to point (2). 4. The ticket office will not be open on the day of the pompey game so passes cannot be collected then. So for non season ticket holders that are not local you'll probably have a 10 day max window to travel to St Marys to pick up your travel pass.
-
So pay to attend on the 10th (an early k/o that is on tv), and then the Pompey game, and all this just before Christmas. WHY CAN'T THEY JUST POST THE BLOODY TRAVEL PASSES OUT?
-
Reading the rules and regulations for the ballot I read it that only season ticket holders can apply before 1st December, so that will then leave 18 days for the rest of us. So that is a window of 18 days (less the period of application) so maybe a 10 day window for non local fans to personally collect their travel passes as the official site says they won't be posted out. This means that just before christmas you either have to pay to travel down or attend the televisised early k/o fixture against Blackpool. It is f/cking ridiculous and worse than that it's probably a deliberate ploy to yet again penalise against fans that don't live locally.
