  1. "but i'm sure but i think" makes a lot of sense.
  2. Thanks to 13 years of a wasteful Labour government our country is weaker than it should be, but so are a lot of other countries including Argentina. For the next decade our south atlantic colony is slightly vulnerable because if the Argies struck our runway we couldn't reinforce by air. Also the Americans have recently called for us to discuss sovereignty with the Argies over "the malvinas" (a deliberate use of the Argy name...) so it's debateable whether we'd be granted use of Ascension Island in the mid atlantic or be supported with a few equivalents of the sidewinder missiles. So why the shift? It all comes down to oil with the yanks wanting stability so they can invest billions in exploiting the region. I believe we will muddle through this decade and retain our colonies, but this is not ideal. We could possibly be caught out by a weak Argentina, but I don't think we will.
  3. Ditto. I've used the supporters coach for the last two visits to their place as it's easy - in and out - no hassle. I remember the last time Saints charged 1 pound to park at SMS and I was furious about this insult of a charge. If it's true that the club now charge 10 pounds to park then i'll have to find somewhere else to park or get the train. Don't fancy driving and then getting held in the ground and have to wandr back to the car when everyone has already dispersed.
  4. I signed up for 6 months and paid in advance, but a few days ago my subscription ran out and they decided to start debiting monthly payments @ 4.29/month.
  5. Thorpe-le-Saint made a special request.

  7. Whats the latest score?
  8. I've never been as drenched in my life as after that game.
  9. This.
  10. This. It's so annoying.
  11. Did you rape him?
  12. It's possible. Saints is an ideal place to loan a player.
  13. This will never be said of you.
  14. I've just been watching Swansea fans on ITV news on the supporters coach and I have to say it looked a right laugh. Does anyone from here travel on the supporters coach and do you have any funny memories to share from the bus?
  15. Remember being there. Happy days. And proper football ground.

    Beattie

He's always been a big head that looks down his nose at people. In his prime he'd be an asset, but now he's past it i'd consider him more of a liability. NA has built a good squad and it's not worth the risk.
  18. Yep, that'd about do me. The only time i'd want to watch a full match (knowing the score) is a classic game i.e 76 final or beating Pompey.
  19. Definite red.
  20. Personally I prefer the 3 minute highlights.
  21. It wasn't like that when my old man and his 5 brothers and 2 sisters were growing up. Today it's not a real community, it's stockbrokers etc.
  22. I was watching the Harry Potter film last night and the ministry of magic said they had notified the prime minister of the escape from Azkaban - but we never get to hear about it....
  23. Personally i'd hate to live in or in the close vicinity of Southampton. Much rather find a nice village around Winchester. My family are originally from round the Crawley/Sparsholt/Hursley area and it's a nice area, but expensive now. Southampton is a dump, always has been always will be.
