Looking at the live table on saintsplayer it has us as 2nd, is that right? I thought we were 3rd.

It can't have been much fun for them going out with a manic depressive vegetarian.

Last week we were rubbish. Today we will bounce back. We will win 3-0.

I always find The Express to be spot on when it comes to poltics and immigration issues.

Andy Coulson resigns from No.10 Director of Communications post
dune replied to trousers's topic in The Lounge
A sad loss. Andy did a brilliant job and it's always good to have The Sun (and the NOWT) on your side. -
Which is why Brown wasn't such an issue under Blair. Tony Blair had public appeal. The sad truth for Labour now is that they've got an annoying Nottinghill style geek with a lisp as leader, and smug obnoxious slimeball as his number two. From a Conservative point of view it's a dream ticket.

Balls and Brown raided company pension schemes.

Positive RNS just out. I expect a major rise here today.

It'll be crap just like all re-incarnations of once good programmes. -
I fancy NVTA to have a good rise any day now. There have been a lot of buys lately and news has emerged that the Wodgina mine will only be running at 50% capacity when it eventually re-opens. The Wodgina management do not want to over supply the market which makes sense as their operation is only feasible with Tantalum selling over $100/lb (it should realise $120 if they are smart). I'm also liking the fact that Roddie Fleming is the largest shareholder (15.66%) and he's no mug and the fact the ceo of NVTA is a certain Eric Kohn. His name means nothing to me except that Kohn is the same a Cowen or Cohen - a Jewish name, and you don't see many poor jews...

Yeah it has, especially for Great Britain. It's the duty that makes it expensive, but we've now got the Conservatives in charge and once our country has recovered from 13 years of incompetent Labour rule and the public finances and public sector are put right we will see tax cuts and everyone will be better off. For the first time since the 1930's youngsters face the prospect of being worse off than their parents. I hope all the thick people who voted labour are pleased with themselves.

Hampshire County Council rationalising to the tune of £55m in 2011/12
dune replied to trousers's topic in The Lounge
Why don't you? Councils became bloated with made up jobs during the dark years of Labour rule. I feel sympathy towards those that will need to find alternative employment, but it's a good thing that we have government that is following it's ideological principles of cutting out bureacracy and trying to free working people from the taxation of funding a Socialist nanny state. The more the Conservatives break apart everything Labour stands for the better IMO. -
Oh dear. So now the Socialists have a geek as leader and a bulbous eyed smirking Nick Griffin look-a-like as his number two. Alan johnson was utterly out of his depth in the job, but was likeable, so i'm absolutely loving the fact he has been replaced by one of the most unlikeable Socialists of the lot. I bet David Cameron and the Conservative party are as delighted as I am.

They're just hijacked by shop stewards and rent-a-quote types. I don't think there is any need for them now because Nicola is single minded and what anyone else thinks is of no consequence. So far he's making mostly good decisions so let him get on with it.

We won't hear about it until we hear about it.

I bet more people were against the hunting ban.

Not sure. I think more are british, but Americans make us a sizeable tranche.

We all saw Muslims burning the Union Flag and UAF scum marching alongside them.

Keep an eye on SGZ. I've had them on my watch list for a while and today they went up 23.5% (50% since i started watching them). If their planning permisision is granted (which i expect it will be after revisions) it could be a good investment.

Which is why i'm delighted BP are now doing so well despite obama's attempts to derail the company. The Gulf of Mexico spill has taught BP a lot and that combined with their deep sea drilling expertise has put them in a great position. The Russians need us, the Chinese need us. **** you Obama.
