  1. Ordering the aircraft carriers and trying to force through new school builds during their dying days were a deliberate scorched earth policy, like a medieval army burning the fields to starve the people. I really hate Labour with a passion for many things, but this is near the top.
  2. Of course they don't. The Marxists views defy logic, but they feed upon the ignorance of their comrades.

I may be making a huge mistake, but I like a gamble, and i'm currently buying in African Consolidate Resources and with a view to building up a holding worth £2,000 @ 10p/share. This is a long term investment and there is a realistic possibility it could end up 200p/share+ or the company fold. It all depends on what happens in Rhodesia politically, and i'm pleased that David Cameron has brought the subject of rogue African states up with the Chinese. China pulls Mugabes strings, and it's China that are buying the blood diamonds extracted from the Marange field that is thr rightful property of ACR. With the KP ruling that Rhodesia cannot sell the diamonds on the open market just last week, any pressure from China would be much appreciated. That all said i'll smoke a big fat cigar when I hear of Mugabes death as what is really required is a period of civil war with the MDC winning. That's the best hope for the Rhodesian courts honouring their obligations.
  5. Indeed. I notice theres a lot infighting over this with Miss Harman being asked to consider her position. Good news indeed.
  6. "The Red Pepper" Pure Marxist propaganda.

    Torture

For paedophiles i'd bring back Oubliettes and put them in there and seal it and leave them to die.
  8. One of the few times i'll agree with you. My only problem with the Iraq war was the cost and whether it'd be an economically profitable venture for the UK. I think our participation was wrong in this respect as we don't seem to have benefited much compared to American companies, but the end result is better for the people of Iraq.
  9. I've always hated Celtic.

    Torture

I'd say it's justified so long as it's done in a western christian civilised manner.
  11. If this is true then the Echo have no sympathy from me.
  12. If only Rupert had never been born.
  13. No, that's how many states there are in America.
  14. ... who is the premier of China? They are the 2nd largest economy on the planet so everyone surely knows.
  15. That's your opinion, nothing more. I doubt Nicola would share it because it's his ambition to turn us into a top Premiership club.
  16. On my last visit to CCFC I witnessed chavs spitting at a family of Saints fans. I think that sums up the place.
  17. In the Premiership 30,000 + gates were the norm. We can fill bigger than that.
  18. 58. Barry Beardall
  19. It's a nice drive past loch Lomand and through Glen Coe up to Fort William.
  20. How about a ground share with Pompey if a large stadium was built between the two cities?
  21. The city centre is very bland imo. It's much like Liverpool with the Albert dock area. I didn't see any sectarianism and the city centre seemed like a neutral zone, but noticed a pub wth a sign saying no football shirts. A few of us stayed there when Saints were on the Scotland pre season friendly and i'd recommend you don't find a cheap city centre hotel. Reckon ours was full of DSS smackheads.
  22. Eat deep fried pizza.
  23. The power went off at 11 a.m at work today and i've just spent 7 hours dinking coffee and playing pool (canteen uses different electric). What a grueler that was.
  24. After all the crap with Lowe, and how that really ruined my love of SFC, i'm not going to go there again unless it's absolutely necessary. When Nicole does something that affects me i'll moan like ****, but can't be arsed to be too bothered about little things. We have a good manager and a good team - that's all that matters at the minute. In the future I can see Cortese hiking prices, but that's a bridge to cross in the future.
