Bang on the money. Under Pardew we had one plan and if that didn't work (which happened too often) then it was game over. Pardew was an arogant manager that saw changing things as a dent to his ego - he was always right in his mind. Last season we were 4 points off the play-offs at Christmas after a good run, but then the pitches got sticky and we needed to react to this, but we didn't and we came unstuck away from home. I don't think this will happen under Nigel Adkins because he's a thinking manager who will do what it takes to win games.

Agree with this. He was pivotal in our good spell at St Marys. Ever since he left we went down hill and it's only now that we're recovering.

I can't be arsed to get into an argument about little details. That 3rd goal was the best goal because we flowed as a team. The best performance i've ever seen from a Saints team was when we destroyed Spurs at St Marys 4-0 as a team. That goal was a little sign that we are heading in the direction of being able to play like that at this level. For that reason it gave me a lot of hope for what is to come.

For all the ******** posted on here it was always patently obvious to me that the club was going to go into Admin and the shareholders lose the lot. I think a lot of the characters just used this place to influence the share price. If you remember it rose dramatically on the back of some of the nonsense rumours. They're rattled and we'll stuff them on Saturday because they now have an expectation on them of performing on Saturday and this pressure will ensure that they don't. And even if they do raise their game, we're more than good enough to dispatch them in 3rd gear. It'll be a comfortable win by a clear margin.
