Both yes. Actually not as interested three episodes in as I was after watching the pilot. It's not bad but the two leading male characters particularly the mentalist dad is wearing a bit thin. It's not anything mightily original like Lost was to some extent, more like a souped up XFiles.

Ah, ok 5:30 Pm it is then. Beer will settle better. NY, looking forward to it a lot. I love leaving Vegas whenever possible and the Pacific NW is superb. Hamptons don't sound too shabby either! -
Coventry Game On! US Setanta

I'm swapping out my receiver with the subscription for his. DTV say this will work. After the last two results, quietly confident that it will be third time lucky. -
What is with all this Setanta Saints love in? I will be attempting to watch it in a very unique way this weekend. Leaving on an RV road trip (in true American spirit) in a few days and bloke whose coach it is has a roving Directv sat dish on board! Get in! Since we will be on the road at 9am PST approaching the Oregon border, this will be true Saints traveling support! COYRs!!

Just found a download of Just a Souvenir from Squarepusher. The usual funky jazzy guitars, mad beats and acid squelching! Some lovely tunes here although nothing on first listen to really rival his older stuff.

Tiggs, you have really 5hit taste.

Some great films Butch Cassidy, The Sting, The Color of Money to name my favorites - and his voice very memorable in Cars! Oh, and the charity salad dressings stay as his daughter is carrying on the legacy! RIP

Happy Birthday. I just woke up but caught the 1st half 'highlights' which lead me to belive there have been decent chances from both ends. That's about it as SaintsTV has no sound again....

Agreed. Curb Your Enthusiasm another that is waning. Dexter starts again next week and hope it will be as good as the previous 2 seasons before it. 24 had two belters as you say, the next two were pretty crap but I quite enjoyed the last two even if it's nothing original anymore. The Wire had totally passed me by so am looking to get it on DVD. On the flip side, which US series have people enjoyed only for them to be prematurely discontinued. For me Firefly had several more runs left in it before the network stopped it. Twin Peaks another that was stopped in it's tracks with no resolution.

"U..S..A......U..S..A" One of the funnest chants I've heard (although I havn't been back that much)

I will be trying to get hold of the documentary after finishing the book. It really is a good read. I hope Dave Gorman returns for another spin on a US road trip, he's got a great knack for it.

Can you hear me Tom? ****wits ffs!

Just started America Unchained by Dave Gorman. Travel across the States in a classic Ford Torino Stationwagon without visiting any big chain company petrol stations, food outlets or hotels whilst stopping to take a glance at America off the beaten track. So far, very entertaining and funny.

Just watched the pilot 2 hour episode and it looks very good....cost $10M to make apparently. Looks to have more scope than Lost having a more X-Files and Heroes thriller feel to it concerning the FBI trying to fight and unravel forces using 'fringe science'. Airs Oct 6th on Sky 1.

It'll never happen over there. We on the other hand have a hockey mum VP candidate who has stated in the past that it needs to be taught across the board. Yikes!

Come now. I will admit there is left wing bias from a number of other news channels, but none come even close to matching Fox for out and out vehement bias and general tabloid trash. It is comical. If Fox News did the same as MSNBC have done, they'd have dead airtime (and we can discount Alan Colmes, Sean Hannity's stooge) And before you label me as a CNN worshipping liberal. I'm not totally convinced by the Obama ticket but atleast I'm remaining objective - something totally absent from your 'maintain the party lines' soundbites.

Yes. Different (and superior) director. Return of the Jedi ended up a bit like the muppet show in space.
-
Because Fox News told him to.

I think she's only capable of winning over a very small percentage of fickle Hilldog fans, this looks like it'll backfire on the Republicans. Just because he bears a pair of tits, she is so far removed from Hillary it's funny.

This is the only decent stuff I can lay my hands on out here. It is nice enough but wish they'd import more types (other than Blackthorn and Strongbow). The few 'hard ciders' they brew here still taste (very much like their beer) of ****. Cider used to be as popular as beer was over here before prohibition, but was almost never heard of again after the ban lifted, not sure why. FACT.
