I am opening firefox windows and the history sidebar always displays automatically without selecting it. I have to keep closing it. No biggie, but is there any way of stopping it doing this each time I open a browser window?

Not really. I presume I can still make the assumption that the vast majority of viruses are written to infect IE users?

After being a long time AVG user, I was told by some built in Windows virus checker that I had a trojan infection. I also found out that it could just be a conflict between the two scanners. I did a couple of online scans which seemed to show the trojan. Uninstalled AVG, then downloaded and ran AVAST free which showed a clean system. What do others think about AVAST?

Talking of foreign films. I'd recommend The Counterfeiters (Jewish forgers surviving in concentration camp by supplying Nazis with dodgy money) as great cinema. The Lives of Others and The Orphanage (mentioned above) were very good too.

From what I understand, the character Reeves is playing is emotionless alien who doesn't say much. He'll be fine. I'll take the original any day though. Klatuu Nikto Barrada. Just seen Iron Man and was pleasantly suprised. A decent 8.35. Also Close Encounters of the Third Kind which I hadn't seen for some time. However, it was a so called ********y 'director's cut' version. I hate these. Greedy studios stuffing in all the crap that the original editor takes out for a reason to perfect the film.
