F'king hell, that is a mad run of fixtures, even by their standards. Got to get to the 14s first though.............
-
Good to see the club is taking steps to cut away some of the excessive wastage of previous years.
-
When do we play 3 games in one week? Pretty much never. So some players are a bit tired in the middle of the season, I don't think anyone is contesting that suggestion.
-
No, he's saying he thinks it's the average starting salary for graduates.
-
Good job we didn't have to play 3 games in 7 days then isn't it? Are you seriously suggesting we didn't play a weakened team against Sunderland on Saturday?
-
All depends how the role is used, but I think it's a good idea, relative to the level of success we've had over the last few years there is probably a disproportionate amount of p*****d off fans, plenty of relatively easy/quick wins from the club to keep fans happy and win a few brownie points if someone has their ear to the ground and is reasonably switched on.

Oh poor you zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
Down compared to what?
-
You said "no-one really cares", I'm telling you that more of our fans did for Saturday's game than the league game. Not bad looking crowds at Arsenal, Man City or Sheff Utd over the weekend either.
-
We had more at Sunderland than in the league game though.

Thanks for the clarification -
Unlikely, as our allocation will just be a bit over 2.5k.

No need to apologise, I've got no idea what you're really on about. What was your view on the "Guly 15 mins playing time clause" rumour from last season? -

Most entertaining few days on this forum for a long time, I've even lost track of who is being serious now. -
I'm not belittling others for not paying to watch Premier League football, I know plenty that don't. I'm belittling you for making stuff up and telling fans that do actually go and watch their side play,to enjoy their football, plenty will be doing exactly that despite being genuinely p****d off at their rightly perceived waste of valuable time and money at Sunderland.
-
Is this true or have you made this bit up for arguments sake?
-
This. Anyway, you're so passionate and excited about the West Ham game, you'll be glued to your stream, so exciting isn't it.
-
You're making stuff up, which I find ammusing. I don't see why we can't be an upper mid-table side that has a damn good go at the cups as well, it's not a particularly extreme or outlandish expectation for a fan of a club our size.
-
F**ks sake, who has wished for that? This forum is top drawer today.
-
F*****g hell, this forum cracks me up some times.

Right, but this Saturday's game suggested that if we're in the same situation next year the club's policy would most likely be the same, that's just as depressing. I can think of too many occassions over the years where we've had so little to play for in the league but have decided not to focus on the FA Cup, can you? -
The club is no longer run FOR the fans...............
Sour Mash replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Well I don't understand what your point is. Are you saying that the club isn't 100% business focused now? That clubs don't now prioritise the league over cups, partly due to financial concerns? -

How rare is it for us to have so little else to play for at this stage of the FA Cup?
