  1. Absolute f****g joke, me and my lot have paid out for trains, hotels, booked time off work, absolute disgrace.
  2. It's not even flattery really, it's a blog written by a Saints fan, not a proper article.
  3. Decent run, terrible pass at the end though.
  4. To be fair, I'm sure he'd probably go for an 11 from the Champions League side, problem is there aren't 11 players available to him across the 4 sides.
  5. Just that I thought I'd seen that he was not going to be involved with the England Under 21s tonight due to illness, so it's been on-going for a while, who knows.
  6. Jagielka? Townsend? Not sure how much Sturridge played in the CL for Chelsea, a bit I guess.
  7. From what I've heard away fans can normally get in the Trafford and the Bishops Blaize if there is only a couple of you and not wearing colours etc, not tried either myself and a pub full of Man Utd isn't the most appealing way to spend a Saturday. No "Away Fans" pubs in Manc as such. No end of good pubs in town, just depends which bit you're heading into?
  8. Doesn't seem to affect most other international players that are involved in summer tournaments.
  9. Why don't you want to go into the city centre? Loads of excellent pubs to choose from.
  10. Got to assume Shaw is unlikely play? Without reigniting the the whole Fox debate again, it will make things a lot more difficult for us. United love to attack down the flanks.
  11. About 18 months or so ago, they were filming the Northam the whole game every game, not sure why and it stopped after a couple fo months.
  12. You think that was a serious political discussion? It was a p**stake, and Robinson took it for what it was.
  13. Ah cheers for that and there was the rest of us thinking he was a leading member of Mensa. You sum up the view of many of the country's middle classes looking down their noses at a working class bloke voicing his opinion because "he's a bit thick", how dare he speak up without a university education.
  14. Hardly. Most people agree that there should be caps on immigration. Robinson is clearly joining in with the joke on the show as well, it's clearly not meant to be taken seriously.
  15. I know it's probably part and parcel across many football clubs, but it still makes me cringe reading about creating a brand to attract new supporters, what a load of s**te!
  16. He'll be costing the club more than that. Regardless, it's basic Opportunity cost, for both his wages and his transfer fee and that's why it is relevant
  17. How many people have said that Sharp is better than Osvaldo? About 1 out of 1000 posters? MP currently prefers Davis to Ramirez, I guess he prefers headless chickens as well.
  18. Has anyone on this thread actually said anything like that?
  19. Don't think it's just a case of work rate really. Just as much to do with the ease with which Ramirez can.give the ball away when we have men committed forward; I think MP trusts Davis much more to retain and protect our possession. Makes us a bit boring and 'safe', but effective and hard to catch us out on the break.
  20. I can't remember loads saying we should get rid of both. Remember some debate over MS's ability to be strong enough at CM for the lower leagues which was probably a fair question. Ramirez is a 22 year old £12m signing that is currently behind Guly in the pecking order - you must see why some might think it'd make sense for all parties to cash in?
  21. Just stuff about Cabaye, Cisse, Ashley, their fans expectations and attitude. Not seen him do anything Saints related.
  22. Pardew being ridiculously honest on there!
  23. Who thought Lallana should have been sold for £500k?
  24. This probably sums it up. If he's not playing for us or even in the match day 18, he'll be off soon enough, no doubt about it. Plus I'd imagine MP will be keen to reinvest the £10m transfer fee and £60k p/w wages on someone he feels he can use and trust to get a lot out of.
  25. Robinson appeared on BBC's Sunday Morning Live programme earlier today and the text vote was 'Does the EDL have legitimate concerns?' 95% voted yes. Seems like his move to take his message to the mainstream is working.
