He hasn't played any football for a month and the last time he did it was 60 odd minutes against Tahiti. He had well over a month of no football between his last game for us and his first for Uruguay, he's played about the equivalent of 2 and a half games of football since the end of April. I think he's a class player with bags of potential, but there should be no reason for him being tired out.
I wouldn't say London is a step down from Rome at all, London is a bigger, livelier, more diverse city, with the added advantage of plenty of anonymity. Moving to London will be a pull for a lot of footballers.
Right. But housing has probably always been most people's highest living expense, nothing exceptional about that? And your solution is for someone else (the Govt.) to build loads of houses for people and rent them out dirt cheap? Who should pay for that? And plenty if those estates are/were horrific places to live.
Still a lot of people that want to watch it, fair play to them. Not like there aren't plenty of other things on other channels for people to watch if they so want.
Just out of interest, do you describe Lambert's 2012/13 season for us 'vaguely successful'? I know you've described yourself as 'ambivalent' towards him in the past.
Thank f**k Swann got that wicket. Currently got the heaviest thunder storm I've ever seen going on in West London, can't think they'd be any play today.
