I'll think you'll find I did. On a related note, I'd come back to not playing a sub keeper, still believe it is overly cautious when only having the option of 5 on the bench and would be very frustrating leaving some of our players out of the squad for Bart to sit on the bench for 90mins.

Like most of the Balotelli soroies, this has been most likely made up on the internet somewhere.

Anone know how its going to work for Watford and West Ham tickets? Just had a look on the football ground guide website and it seemed to suggest that both tend to only give about 2.2k tickets, but for the West Ham one it can be up to 3.6k. What are our chances of getting bigger alloations for either of these? Will both be a case of us getting an initial allocation and seeing how many/how quickly we sell those? Would be great to take 3k plus to both.

Biggest threat to promotion besides West Ham?

Reading. Have said that since the game at their place in October. -
Probably that team, but with Harding on the bench instead of Chaplow. Definite big selection headache for NA if/when everyone is fit/available. Lets not write Leicester off. The first half up at their place they played us off the park. We won't be top come kick off, and I can see West Ham, Boro & Cardiff all winning very comfortably on Sat.

Can't be too many instances of a footballer being a player for 3 different clubs in one day? He must feel really wanted.
-
Hard one to call. Could be very, very good. Got to wonder why he's moved around so much. What do we reckon? Back up off the bench for Lallana?
-
Why don't you follow an Irish side then?

We won't take many to Hull midweek, and Leeds and Brum with 5.20 kick offs on tv won't be too popular, especially considering the prices they charge. Also not too sure how big an allocation we can get for Palace, not usualy all that big?
-
Really interesting point and I think you're right - think there's some saying about necessity being the greatest source of creativity and you could well re right in this instance. Having said that, it's hard to judge, I really thought Forest were one of the poorest sides I've seen in a long time, particularly 2nd half and it's easy to forget how poor we've looked without Lambert in the past - the Doncaster performance being a great example.
-
Will be 1.5k max I reckon. Never the most popular away days, bit difficult to get back from now and on tv.
-
Yes. Its about 30 mins walk.

Much better performance from us, not sure how much it was down to playing a VERY poor Forest side, particularly one that was down to ten men for half the game. Biggest positive is the fact that it feels like it's kick started our momentum (which was so important at the start of the season) again and gave a few of key players the chance to get back in their flow and confidence up again, while knocking the ball around and trying a few tricks again, I'm thinking particularly Lallana and Connoly, also it must have been a real boost for the side scoring 3 without Lambert, they must have had some doubt internally how they would fare. The last 20 mins, we really took the p*ss and it could have easily been 5 or 6. Agree with others, really quiet, lifeless upport from us. Yes, fans can "support" however the see fit, it is a pity nevertheless. Very officious stewarding there as well, worst I've seen for a while. Epic journey up ther consisting of an £80 cab fare from Market Harborough due to the trains being f*****d and a good post-match booze up, can't complain all told!

Why Saints fans got arrested against Brighton.

Do you honestly believe there isn't a disproportionately high level of police focus on football matches & fans? -
A decision I think most will make, may as well with a late kick off. Caning the wallet in March, overnighters for Leeds, Hull & Blackpool.
-
We're having a fair share of injuries now, more than usual I'd suggest.
-
Think its something like £36 for Cat A games, £34 for Cat B and £28 for Cat C. Only bright side of this is it might mean we won't be Cat A hopefully.
-
F**ks sake, had already booked my train back, always a gamble, but very annoying nevertheless. It seems they're going for our away games with these 5.20 kick offs? Brum, Blackpool, Leeds. At the prices Leeds are charging, we really won't have many up there for this one. Hopefully it'll mean we're teh lowest "Category" for tickets though.

Pretty sure you can get a beer in the ground or if not the Notts County supporters bar at their ground is meant to be good.
-
Pretty much the same amount of people drink on the tube now as they did before to be fair, which isn't very many. Would only get pulled up if you're arriving at a big football match or something. Train travel is completely different and there is no-way it will be banned outright for various reasons. For the bigger London clubs going away from home and for bigger clubs coming into London there are often "dry" trains.
-
I know, but I always thought that was company policy as oppossed to actually being against the law.
-
I could be wrong, but I think it is illegal on football trains (i.e. football specials). I never knew it was illegal to drink alcohol on coaches, just coaches etc going to and from football matches.

You can currently do Birmingham International to Euston in 1hr 12 mins. How many people use that as an option really?
-
They go on sale approx 12 weeks ina dvance. Book them as early as possible (although always running the risk of it being moved for tv etc), use a young persons railcard or anything else, use the relevant train operating company website.....
