I can't imagine us doing the same about Bournemouth for example. Everton's own inferiority issues coming out I guess.

They're not showing the signs of wanting to carefully, slowly build a better club, they're going out and throwing obscene money at the flavour of the month. That strongly suggests they want immediate results.

Does sound a bit like that to me. Just go out and throw mad amounts of money at whatever is flavour of the month and expect immediate results. That'll end well for them. Everton fans are a miserable bunch at the best of times, increased expectations really won't help that.

If true, that would be crazy money for him to turn down. Who knows, but this project from Everton sounds a little over enthusiastic and gung-ho for long term success. We'll have to wait and see.

I don't think Koeman will leave, but could Koeman be thinking we have reached our glass ceiling? Unless we have an exceptional run in Europa or win a domestic cup, Koeman might be thinking it won't get much better than last season, move on while ahead.

It clearly is a problem. Look at our net immigration figures before and after 2004. Completely unsustainable and we're unable to control it. We're currently at a scale of a city bigger than Southampton a year, mainly squeezed into the south and east of England, that is obviously a problem.
