If Maidstone isn't like Cologne, what relevance does it have to this thread?

Just to be clear, are you saying you'll see scenes like are being reported from Cologne, Hamburg etc, in English towns around the country at the weekend?

I agree with Koeman's point, none of them look good enough to me. Some of our fans need to get their head around how rare it is to produce a good level Premier League player from the academy every single year. However, I disagree with the way Koeman has said this, a bit too blatant and direct in public, even in the harsh world of modern football.

That's my point. It was ignored at the time. Only when a fuss was kicked up that the media had to run a story several days after the events. Hence the ZDF apology, they clearly weren't taking the issue head on.

Even a German media outlet apologised for not covering it properly when it happened. As stated, imagine these mobs at Waterloo Station or Manchester Piccadilly Gardens, hundreds strong, it should be front page all over the world.

Do you really?!? With regards to only attacking "combatants", that was blown out of the water in the most recent Paris attacks, along with the majority of other Islamic terrorism.

And considering FFP is relatively in it's infancy, I would be surprised to see it evolve based on changes in circumstances, such as fines being ignored or big increases in tv money. In your opinion. Bottom of Championship, Top of League One, not a huge world of difference in it either way.

They've just been recalled as they haven't been playing, which negates the point of them being out on loan. I expect them to go back out on loan this month, most likely to League One sides.
