According to the Echo, we've been at St Mary's for 10 years now, to me that's gone very, very quickly. Just wanderig what everyone's favourite St Mary's moment was? Mine was either the 3-0 v p********* Or the 3-2 v Sheff Utd when we stayed up and the pitch invasion that followed

Villa's strikers last season were Young and Bent in terms of signing this chap, no thanks. He's sc*ttish, so therefore ****e. End of.

I think you'll find Bayern Munich are still trying to find their Ryan Smith

Already a thread on this http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?31487-Birmingham-City-FC

Possibly about to be put into administration

A lot of people wishing him "good luck" on Facebook...maybe he is due to move our way?
-
Look at his twitter picture, clearly delighted to be here http://a2.twimg.com/profile_images/1458806550/image.jpg

Igor Gabilondo in the first game, the one who scored the fantastic free-kick
-
It was only Holmes who was on the "wrong side". Forte is left footed so played on the natural side for him as a winger
-
seconded, I'll believe it if and when we sign a new player either tonight or tomorrow
-
I thought it was South Coast Union of Men, or Southampton Community Union of working Men?

Gone to turkey I believe, galatasaray or fenerbache

To be fair to Winchester, their players looked quite young too, especially their centre-back who was a big ugly bloke, no-nonsense and scored I believe. As has been said earlier, Corby Moore looked good, although him and Harrison Reed in centre-midfield have a combined height of about 4"11. The latter I can see why the OS compared him to Paul Scholes (not just because he is ginger), he is energetic, good passer and leaves his foot in. Seems very promising and has all the raw attributes to be a good footballer

Didn't exactly set the world alight last season with Blackburn so I'm not really worried about that
-
Because he is Shyte. Everyone still goes on about his "wonder goal" against arsenal all them years ago. FFS, one toe-punt doesn't make you a good player

Haven't seen anything on this to date, but ust a quick report from the academy's first re-season outing at Winchester. 1st Half Didn't recognise some of the players, but noticable ones were Jack Stephens (who we signed from Plymouth last season) at centre-back, who looked very, very good and I can see why he played in their first team last season. James Ward-Prowse in midfield, who has been very highly rated, and you can see why, likes to tackle and can pass a ball accurately, good engine on him too. Joe Curtis who played behind the lone striker, left footed, agile, technically gifted and quite quick too Jake Sinclair, who's older brother Scott was there watching, played up front on his own, looks lightening quick and his off the ball running is superb at his age. again, you can see why he's rated so highly. Winchester scored by their centre-back from a corner to go 1-0 up 2nd Half Whole new 11 players and I recognised even less. Luke Shaw at left-back, Harrison Reed in midfield and Omar Rowe on the wing looked decent but we looked like we lacked another striker as Bevis Mugabi (descibed as a midfielder on the OS) was playing up front. well organised team who did well seeing as it was their first game playing with some of them, and fitness levels were obvious as well as the physical differences against some of the fully grown men for winchester, but they played well dispite the 1-0 defeat. Would expect 2 or 3 to be knocking on the 1st team door some time this season
-
Bevis Mugabi has to be the best name ever!
-
Jasper Schmeichel has been told he can leave Leeds......
-
Even if he was available for nothing I wouldn't sign him
-
On a serious note, I think I read somewhere that for the past 5 premier league seasons, the first goal of the season has been score by the home side. Interesting if true...

There is the fittest girl sat opposite me in Starbucks badgers farm sainsburys...and she's a Saints fan. "i think I'm on a winner here trig"

It's Athletic there is no 'o'. If you said that to a Basque, you would probably get a slap. They are extremely proud of their heritage and hate Spain The stripe is going the wrong way?
-
very decent shout. Looks very promising after last year at Watford and a shorter spell at Norwich (Although I feel he could go back on loan there as he's from Norwich and played a part in helping them get promoted). Seems to be highly rated at Arsenal too, shame Wenger insits on playing foreign ****e ahead of the young English players (ie, Denilson, Diaby and Eboue)

I remember Pahars got sent off once, and WGS (again) in his post-match interview said "He got his first yellow card for tackling, and anyone who knows him knows he doesn't tackle. his second yellow was for dissent, and anyone who knows him knows he doesn't talk" Without meaning to turn this into a WGS appreciation thread... Reporter: "Gordon can we have a quick word?" WGS: "Velocity"

People are booing Puncheon because he's a c()ck, It's got nothing to do with his skin colour. Oh, and Puncheon isn't Black, he's mixed-race. He has a White parent and a Black parent; he's as much "black" as he is "white".
