don't know if this has been discussed already, is there going to be a 3rd kit and if so what will it look like? I reckon a good little money spinner would be if the club bring out a 3rd kit just before the season starts and it turns out to be Yellow! Good money spinner, would please a lot of supporters but would also annoy a fair few.

I think you will find that with all the ticket pricing/policies at present and the general economic climate that there will not be a significant increase in season ticket sales. That is not to say that has been a commercial mistake. Surely DBP/Stu you realise that (salesman and all that). Unless you know all the logic that went into these decisions you can only guess/presume/make it up!

No, they can rely on peoples common sense that if you are wanting info on something you ask someone, pick up the phone, access the internet. It's just all so easy!

If only it was so simple! The only people who will know if the season ticket sales figures have been a success is the people who made the decisions about pricing etc in the first place & the commercial reasons behind them! This would also have to take into account the extra profits (if any) made from tickets sold on a game by game basis and extra profits from new sales next season etc. I here what you are saying DBP/Stu but it is not as simple as you would like to make it.

So if we have sold fewer season tickets (not including half season tickets) than last year? Or will you now muddy the waters to give you room for manouver.

Maybe some of the decisions being made are to get people to start accessing the official site for news & info!

I am also very interested in what the figures will actually be. The club have done very little to advertise but you are wrong in saying they have done nothing! If the club wanted to "Force out" discounted tickets they would just remove the discounts. They could however have made the decision that this is the best way to maximise profits in the future ie; if people don't renew in time they then pay more, if we have a great season this year then there will be many more new comers (paying more)next season etc. I don't fully agree with this stance IF it is the case. We shall see!

It's because he is part of "The Club" that he said that. Just because you work for and are part of the club does not mean that you can say what you want whenever you want. I have never worked for a company that has such a policy. I remember asking the ticket office on several occassions last year about season ticket sales, i got wildly different numbers each time and it was only when the official figures were announced that a true picture was given. Yes, its frustrating to wait for these figures. But hey is it really that big a deal and do we need to conjure up negative conspiracie theories?
