  1. Nothing to gain? I don't class smashing the Skates as nothing, even if we are the heavy favourites
  2. SOUTH AFC Bournemouth Brentford Brighton & Hove Albion Cambridge United Charlton Athletic Colchester United Crawley Town Crystal Palace Exeter City Forest Green Rovers Fulham Gillingham Milton Keynes Dons Newport County Norwich City Oxford United Portsmouth Southampton Stevenage Walsall Watford Wycombe Wanderers Coventry City or Bristol City Plymouth Argyle or Peterborough United
  3. Weird.
  4. Not seen what number ball we will be but draw is tonight after Sky's live TV match has ended We're in the southern section so increased chance of us getting a certain blue team to the east...
  5. Nah, just will be cooling breaks I guess Just hope I'm in the shade in the ground at least. That Spurs away end with the sun blaring all game is probably the worst ever away day experience. Horrific
  6. No different to Saturday then
  7. I think it would be a mistake to sell him. If we need to ship out some deadwood, he isn't one of them
  8. This is the biggest problem with the Ralph out brigade. They propose utterly stupid suggestions like this one.
  9. I'm not certain we will stay up, I'm just saying that the man who has kept us up with a very poor squad for 4 seasons may just be the man to do so again... (let's not forget the miracle of us staying up after Mark Hughes...) Not that we should be in a relegation battle of course, but we're not going down this season with him at the helm, you can quote me on that at the end of the season. If we end up 15th again or worse, get someone else in for next season, I totally agree. But we will go down this season if we sack him.
  10. Puel would sort out our defence for sure, let's be honest. Some of our fans would have to eat humble pie though
  11. Perraud will surely come in, I presume he didn't start because he wasn't ready to play 90 mins. Bella-Kotchap is a definite, one of Salisu/Bednarek has to be dropped. Keep the same midfield. I'd go Aribo, Adams and either A or S Armstrong up front. 4-3-3 would work I think.
  12. I said it before and I'll say it again - if we sack Ralph, we 100% will get relegated. Or we stick with the guy who has at least kept us up.
  13. Bit early to say it's must win but given the games afterwards are Leicester, Man Utd and then Chelsea, this is our best chance of picking up three points and therefore I'd be a bit disappointed if we don't...
  14. This is total and utter nonsense. He's bloody kept us up for four seasons but you think he's our worst ever manager? Deluded
  15. The performance was dreadful. The fourth goal in particular summed it up. I'll be honest, I wasn't impressed with Bazunu. His kicking at times was pretty poor and McCarthy saves those first two goals. Huge improvement needed, if we play like that against Leeds then we're in big, big trouble this season.
  16. I tend to walk from Seven Sisters, slightly longer walk but is straight up the main road
  17. Different situation, Ings had a year left on his contract. And let's be honest, £30m was a good deal, considering Villa weren't that much better than us come the final standings.
  18. Literally he makes things up
  19. A plucky point away at one of the bigger teams in the division
  20. Looking forward to this one, ticket arrived yesterday, roll on Saturday
  21. Does he need a fast start? Really? I'd be disappointed to not beat Leeds at home but the other 4 games are toughies, let's be honest
  22. We have better players so the manager who has kept us up with worse players will get us relegated? What?
  23. My only prediction will be IF we sack Ralph mid season, we will end up relegated.
  24. Right I'll spark the Broja discussion that MLG wanted If indeed Fab is right, and he usually is, not sure it changes the fact that Chelsea want more than we are willing to pay for him. I reckon this drags on until deadline day, which isn't helpful for us.
  25. Not a bad thing tbh, much prefer to be underestimated, same as in 2014 when every man and his dog were predicting relegation after we lost Poch and a load of players. Opposite scale, seem to recall Villa last season being tipped to do very well after a period of heavy spending and that went well for them. More than happy for us to go under the radar.
