  1. Back today according to Saints twitter
  2. Maybe I'm in a minority but I've always preferred us having more white than red on our kit
  3. We still have a fitness coach so I imagine they'll be doing the majority of the early pre season work
  4. https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/2022-05-24/southampton-pre-season-announcement-austria-klagenfurt-2022 According to this, they will return in 'late June'. So this week apparently
  5. The players haven't exactly endeared themselves to us with their recent performances. Maybe Ralph is just telling them some hard truths
  6. Wasn't Koeman also known for not exactly endearing himself?
  7. Also the media team normally announce a date for revealing the kit, no? So that will come first
  8. No. He's too important to sell
  9. If Adams could finish he'd be a top striker. He missed so many sitters last season.
  10. When are the club back for pre-season training? Got to be before then, surely
  11. The club has been so badly mismanaged that we could have easily have done a Sunderland and dropped like a stone two divisions History will remember Ralph kindly. Deserves a lot of credit.
  12. Exciting. Champions League here we come?
  13. Generally speaking, our recruitment of cast-offs from elite clubs has worked out well for us - Romeu, Bertrand, Hojbjerg, Alderweireld come to mind. Lemina worked out badly but that wasn't down to ability, that was his attitude. He could have been a top player if he wanted to. A shame for him and for us really.
  14. Interestingly, unless we get a home draw in the League Cup, the game against Brentford will be our 500th competitive game at St Mary's.
  15. Things hotting up with Svanberg according to Italian media
  16. Wouldn't we be talking to his agent anyway rather than him directly?
  17. I'll allow you that one
  18. Absolutely yes to Ings coming back. As a striker he fits what Ralph wants to do perfectly. I suppose you could say though that if we're willing to fork out for him than we'd be better off going for Broja, so we'll see. I've said this before and I'll say it again, I would be incredibly disappointed if we sell JWP to anyone other than a Champions League team. That would show me the club has no ambition. My own gut feeling is that he'll stay. He's too important for us IMO.
  19. Well if that's the case then can see why we brought him in. Although I'd also like us to see us sign some better defenders anyway...
  20. I don't really blame him for that era, that's all down to Rupert Lowe.
  21. Don't have a problem with Long staying tbh. As a back up, and that is what he is, it's not the worst option in the world.
  22. On the face of it, seems like a good appointment. Hopefully he'll bring some fresh ideas to the group. Maybe he'll turn Redmond into Mane finally, or Long into a goalscorer
