  1. Guys & Girls. My father in law passed away Tuesday and the funeral is a week Monday. My eldest daughter and he used to always sing 'You are my sunshine' to eachother, and the mother in law wants a short recording of my daughter singing it then fading into the Frank Turner version of 'You are my sunshine' - Anyone able to, or know how to get this recording edited into the start of the track so that it gently flows into one another for when the service finishes? Thanks in advance for any help. SSOTN

  15. Thanks chaps. Very difficult time indeed. Mikey, it's very similar to yours as kid. My missus step dad passed away, but he has been there since her 1st birthday and he was the rock of the family. My daughters are 16 months and 3 & a half years so whilst the youngest is too young to have any idea bless her, my eldest is asking when she can see him. He had been in hospital for 10 days so we had explained that he had a very poorly head and the doctors were trying to make him better. Have sat down with her and explained. Have never had to explain death before. Nobody close to her has ever died, no pets or anything. Thing is, just as we were waiting for my mum to get over last night so we could get up the hospital (as he'd took a sudden turn), my eldest turned to her auntie and said "Badad (grandad) has died, but he isn't in the sky yet." We have never even explained that humans die, we hadnt spoken about it in front of the kids and as everyone was upset we specifically didnt mention "Badad" as she would have twigged. I have no idea where that come from. Explaining to her this morning was the hardest thing I have ever done, but she doesn't fully understand. I told her that he has gone to live in the sky and be a star, the brightest one. When we want to say hello, we have to look to the sky. She then come out with something about clouds and they will go away when he wants to say hello. Incredible. Thanks again.

  19. Don't S'pose any of you know about a oil company in Falklands that has apparently gone through the roof? I was told about it a few years ago, told to put whatever I had in the bank on it. The guy who told me, who didn't do it either, found out yesterday that the guy who told him to do so, is now a millionaire, by only investing about £20k. I can't remember the name of tw company and know feck all about this stuff. Any ideas?
  20. Opening game of the season v Leeds. A tough game that many were very weary of, we destroyed them and went on a great run. Watching Jos get better and better by the week. Plymouth Away was just superb, as was Walsall of course. Working on my garden, listening to Brighton v Saints, losing 1-0 with 10 minutes to go and Connolly bangs in the equaliser, I give a good pump of the fist and urge the Saints on. "Davis hangs a long ball upfield, Fonte rises at the back post and loops the ball across the face of goal... (ERUPTION)" Its fair to say, I went f*****g berserk. And all I could hear was various other Saints doing exactly the same from properties and gardens around me. I ran up and down the garden, the feeling that I would never be able to fully explain, just pure adrenaline. That for me is my moment. To go from feeling like we had thrown away promotion, to within minutes have pretty much guaranteed it, was incredible.
