You did mate, I was there so fair play, that was grass roots football in the day. None of us would wish any team to go out of business (I guess you have one exception) and I'm sure it would have been reciprocated. The only issue some might have is how its developed over the years into 'you saved our club'..but yes it was a nice gesture. How long you want to keep reminding us is probably up for debate as well mind 😉. I think the irony probably flew right over your head there 🤣...we won it at Hull away in front of about 5k, hardly the stuff of legends. Thanks for the points lads Jesus you really are a ponderous team with little attacking threat. Its like same ****, different gravy every time we play but this time we got the result we deserved. A club with a progressive fully supportive chairman who has spent on the squad since he arrived and a young manager willing to adapt and change and build / sign a quality team of youngsters .....against you lot....a slowly dying club who have long since lost their identity. Probably one of the worst teams we have encountered this season or even last. You lacked any real sort of attacking threat despite all of that sideways movement . The fans do big time. Warnock leaves in May to retire.. probably couldnt leave too soon according to some so there is pressure on the new board to get someone in who can the club promoted...and beyond. I think he would do well.

You werent sh_t. From the kick off you came at us. It was a fast / frantic game and you soaked things up, hell we were all over you like flies in the first half in an attempt to close you down so any attempt at the beautiful game from you was up sh*t creek......you settled in the second half, it wasnt great but it did the job. Having spent more time in this Division than any other team i believe, we have seen the likes of Man City, Fulham, Leeds, Sheff Utd / Wednesday (and Im going back to the 80's) None of them got out of this godforsaken league by playing the beautiful game....(obviously missed Norwich / Leeds last season ) the one thing that they all had in common and that was a big strong centre half and a defence to match. Lets be honest you dont really care how you get out. What i would say is that I saw you play Leeds last season and shoot me down but the team that beat Leeds were on a different planet than the team you put out today. The quality seems to have gone with Pardew but if Adkins can get you up do you really care?

Im here and having been at the game today can offer the following: Quite impressed with your support, you sang a fair bit. The song where you all lean to the left and then to the right was embarrassing for you all....you looked like a load of numpties to be honest. I would bin that asap. Tight game, impressed with Adkins tactics. I always rated him! You pushed up in the second half and young Oxlade-chamberlain and Lallana kept harrying us and were a constant headache. The penalty incident will be argued over from our lot but I cant help but think that the ref felt he owed you something from his decision for our goal. His decision was correct but after the lino stuck his flag up he could have boshed it. Credit to him for getting it right and the view on the penalty may be clearer later on. Second goal was scrappy but hey ho it was a goal and it took the wind out of our sails. Third was a cracker. No complaints from me. We lack strength in depth- you clearly dont. Ive seen all three games and you are getting promoted so enjoy. I will follow your progress with a bit more interest from now on, not to wish you to fail of course but to see what sort of investment you get on the playing side if you go up.
