It was disappointing to concede that goal so early on My team seemed to be in shock We have to learn from this situation We need to be aware that you cannot give anything away We can look at the future positively, because we know we can create It's all about the small details and we need to be fully focused on the small details Sometimes the small details cost us points See this as a wake-up call I don't really have to talk about Sunderland They scored the one real chance they got They continued playing their game We have to win the match, it's ninety-five or more minutes Osvaldo is well-established, but needs more of a run He needs to learn his team-mates We hope he enjoys his time at Southampton and plays well *refused to comment on whether Osvaldo would start against Barnsley

Fonte levels late on for Saints. Thoughts?

Big Vic = Big Hit I like him. Phenomenal talent and good attitude too, it seems.

Who/what will be out next official partner?
Saint-Armstrong replied to doubleonothing's topic in The Saints
Official belly button piercing partner is my guess. -
I prefer "#SAINTSFC" to "FLYBE" or "FRIENDS PROVIDENT" in fairness. Should've just left it as Saints. A bit of a.... strange decision, but it's hardly a big deal.

It says Saints FC, that's fine. I just don't understand it. Looks kinda tacky and gimmicky. I guess that's what it is...

NSFW'd the image of Daily Mirror's front page for tomorrow - harrowing, but a powerful message and front page: [NSFW][/NSFW]

Puncheon to Palace - Official (Season Loan)
Saint-Armstrong replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I think there's a lot to be read into this. What's with the rattle throwing of some online? The use of the words "has been allowed to" by the official announcement should end any doubt that this is Jason's decision. It's for family reasons. The club seemingly didn't bank on losing him and certainly didn't try to ship him out. Good luck to the guy though. Shortly after the birth of his child, JP thanked SFC for their support and he had time out of sessions, featuring from the bench more. I'd say it's clear that for whatever reason, the issue remained. It's in the best interests of all to let him go. What is refreshing is to be saying goodbye to Jason and thanking him for his efforts in keeping us up. Thanks Jason. -

Details: http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2013/08/20/premier-league-shirt-sponsors-pour-record-166m-into-top-flight-bank-accounts-200801/ Might explain why Nicola wants to break away from aap3. (if forum talks is correct)

Loan spell for Puncheon at Crystal Palace.

Any chance of this one getting going you reckon? "Osssssss-valdo! He's gonna score today! It's just a shot away!" It seems we may end up with a "he scores when he wants", but it'd be nice to have something unique, original and appealing to the player. It just works. The tune, the meaning, the words. It fits and it's catchy. [/simoncowell] We've already read and seen how Osvaldo needs to feel appreciated and loved, and as well as being a pretty good chant for the reasons listed above, it certainly serves a purpose in playing up to him and his biggest love, The Rolling Stones. Anyone? Please not another terrible and generic chant...
