Nicola Cortese - Is he worth £1.576m per annum?
Saint-Armstrong replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Up to the Liebherr's. If he was that much of a pain in the arse, he'd not still be here. He gets results doesn't he? Oh, and I am sure we currently have players earning the same and more. Round it up over the 4 seasons, and that's lets say £7m give or take, and I guess the Liebherr's would be happy with the developments. -

Wonder if he does this....

Absolute scumbags. How could someone deliberately do this? Anyone watching the shows.....?

Definitely using that! Genius

VIDEO: Gary Neville's analysis of Southampton vs Chelsea

He later said: "Southampton are playing some of the best football in the division." He went on to say he thinks we will continue to improve and comfortably avoid relegation. -
CAPTION COMPETITION: Saints vs Chelsea

There's an 'exclusive interview' with Lambert on the site tomorrow morning that is supposedly "unmissable" and "interesting". Tweet from Jim Lucas, Saints' comms officer: "I spoke to Rickie Lambert at Staplewood earlier. Our unmissable interview goes online tomorrow morning – it's an interesting one! #saintsfc" Tweet from Paul Watts, Saints' photographer: "here is @JFBLucas and @TomCoull interviewing with me directing for some exclusive news #saintsfc http://img.ly/tPGJ" Rickie being named club captain is all I can think of?

More than me, it is the players who are performing well I think we also played other good games, but weren't able to get the victory In football you can't just "deserve a result", we must work for them all game Today, we fully deserved to win and did win We want to win against all teams, whoever they are In front of us there was Chelsea, the champions of Europe and it is completely normal for Chelsea to look for the win 2nd half Overall, we fully deserved the win and we had some other good chances The goal is always the same, to prepare well and to win the next game It happens that our next game is Reading and I really want to win against them Yes I am really happy, especially with those who do not play as much as others and it is important to highlight how well they did today All Southampton players should be internationals! (said in English - when asked about 'Lambert for England' chants & Q about Rodriguez in the future for England) I fully respect Nigel Adkins, it will be a pleasure to say hello to him next weekend

Phew. We did it again! City, Liverpool and now, Chelsea. 9 points from 9.

Dave Merrington shirt. "What Southampton don't want to do now is...."

LATE REF CHANGE: Martin Atkinson drops out of the Saints/Chelsea game and is replaced by Jon Moss. Moss has refereed us twice this season. Both at home. The 1-0 win over Reading and the 4-1 win against Villa.

Markus Liebherr would've been 65 today...

http://www.lifesapitch.co.uk/laptv/two-minute-warning/douglas-to-man-utd-arsenal-eye-ramirez-lindegaard-for-west-ham/ What on earth is this show?! Stumbled across it and it's just odd. I'm not sure what it is but the presenter gets on my nerves too....

Maybe Fergie is playing mind-games (shock!). Get Chelsea to roll out a 2nd team too, and United are likely to have more confidence in themselves turning Sunderland over than in Chelsea coming to St. Mary's and taking all three points.

One less ex-Saints manager in employment

Quite possibly the weirdest club statement I have ever seen.... written by the chairman himself: http://www.southendunited.co.uk/news/article/240313-club-statement-731649.aspx?pageView=full#anchored -
Chelsea line up £7m summer bid for Clyne
Saint-Armstrong replied to itchen_dan's topic in The Saints
I get fed up with arguments like these. It doesn't mean he isn't a good crosser if someone else doesn't put their chance in the net does it? FWIW he has at least one for the Puncheon goal at the Bridge. Let the pages of silly arguments continue. -

Only £7m? Pah. The Don would not even return their call. -
