Just be thankful we don't support Cardiff City. What even is this monstrosity?! -
Saints announce new kit deal with Adidas. First hint at new kit? Predominantly red with white stripes?

To answer this, yes. HOWEVER, you aren't then allowed to print the sponsors logo onto kids' shirts. Same goes for betting companies. -

"Monaco is one of the most successful clubs in France, having won seven league titles and five Coupe de France trophies. The club has also regularly competed in European football having been runners-up in both the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and UEFA Champions League in 1992 and 2004, respectively. Monaco enjoyed success in the 1970s and late 1980s during the managerial tenures of Lucien Leduc and Arsène Wenger, during which the club was amongst the leading lights of European football. Monaco's traditional colours are red and white, and the club is known as Les Rouge et Blanc (The Red and White). Monaco is also a member of the European Club Association. In December 2011, two-thirds of the club was sold to an investment group led by Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev." There's quite a few reasons to join them. The ground may only hold just over 18,000 - but it's a decent enough club. -
They were in Tuxedos again, definitely not penguins!!! Hahaha

A man has been beheaded by two men with swords in broad daylight, in Woolwich. The decapitation occurred right next to a primary school too, all the worse. Here are the tweets of a witness: https://twitter.com/BOYADEE Such terribly sad news. What even goes through the minds of some people. I understand the two men involved have been shot by police.

Lets play... Season Ticket Abandonment Sweepstake! I'm saying that PIP will not get a season ticket. Get in there quickly...

Le Tissier is being inducted into the Hall of Fame at the National Football Museum in September. Congrats and well deserved.

Just been having a look at their new website: http://www.saintsfoundation.co.uk/ Really quite interesting, and another positive off-the-field development under the Liebherr/Cortese axis. I don't live in Hampshire but it seems like they're very pro-active and have been and continue to do a lot for people. Was just having a flick through the different sections and watching some of the videos of people's stories on there. Decent stuff, always enjoy seeing the fundraisers that the club endorse. A real positive aspect that has been developed and integrated off-the-field that the press seem to ignore when talking about Cortese's negative points as a chairman who is just in it for himself. (yes, Martin Samuel). Any of the non-exiled Saints fans on here, have you seen any of the work they do? You probably have a better idea of it than me... Anyway, I'll post the video link and leave it to anyone who wants to watch, read or comment. Videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/SaintsFoundationTV?feature=watch

My personal favourite argument is "this is a stepping stone for aggressive homosexuals!" What on earth...?
-
Should it be passed...? I think it should, but there should obviously be no pressure applied to religions or their building to carry out ceremonies. However, I do understand the argument that marriage is religious, but as far as I am concerned as an atheist - it doesn't really make much sense. Fire away...

I am very happy for the supporters, for the tribute they had with the players I am disappointed that we didn't win I think we have been superior in the last six games, but we haven't closed out games We have lacked that final touch to get the wins It's a great learning curve for 99% of the players at this club We're fully aware that the last ten games are very full of emotional charge We know we have to perform in the last ten games Maybe we lack some mental strength Overall, we have done well Our first goal in the Premier League has been achieved We will be here next season We want to maintain the core of the squad, next year they will be more settled with the first season under their belts The players that join us will add more quality and strength It's the best possible news for the club that Nicola Cortese will be with us The budget is something I am going to speak to Nicola about tomorrow morning I never rest, I always keep on thinking and working for Southampton

Saints finish the season with a 1-1 draw with Stoke City at St. Mary's Stadium. Goals from Crouch and Lambert. The result means Saints finish their first season back in the Premier League in 14th position, with a 41 point haul.
-
Lambert's 2nd half equaliser cancelled out Crouch's opener for the Potters in the final game of the season. Thoughts on the game?

Nice gesture from the club to Rickie... Mauricio has signed it with 'por muchos más', which translates to 'for many more'.
