  1. I suggest we just sit back, put our feet up, and enjoy the potential spectacle of a West Ham implosion. He's just offended his striker force, and motivated our lads by dissing them.
  2. Must admit that works for me. funny as f**k, takes the p*ss out of sci-fi geeks something rotten. Kevin and Perry Go Large.
  3. Any chance of Fox returning ? I havent read anywhere what is wrong with him.
  4. Hardly, I am still trying to decipher your drivel. I'll decide then whether I should feel hurt by it.
  5. I never bother with apostrophes on here.
  6. At least those of us you refer to have a decent command of the Queens English.
  7. You're a bit late, mate. My post has already been disected and dismissed.
  8. Berwick Rangers, non ?
  9. Was he in the halls of power when Sheffield United were shafted by the Premier League too ? Could be the case. I wish that bloke would f**k off, I reckon he's one of the contributing factors to the FA screwing up the latest England manage appointment too.
  10. So do I. But seeing as 4-0 drubbings are difficult to reproduce week-in, week-out, the mark of true promotion contenders is fighting back when meeting opponents not willing to lay down for a spot of casual arse-kicking...
  11. Personally, I've given up wondering why certain clubs faces fit and some others dont. The Football League bend over backwards (maybe forwards too - who knows ?) to accomodate Portsmouth, and throw the book at us on dodgy ground and threaten us if we dare to appeal their rules
  12. There you go. Cant have the good name and image of the Football League and FA besmirched and West Ham annoyed sufficiently to take us to court, can we ? Really wonder what the hold West Ham has over the footballing authorities in this country, what with this and the Tevez/Mascherano affair.
  13. Yeah, I just noticed. But it was a pretty broad thread title, so I didnt notice it, and although this news item has been cited there as an example of government spending, that thread is a bit more generalised.
  14. Cant see the FL allowing that to happen. Some fudge will be found to keep them going for the next 6 or 7 weeks.
  15. Yeah, of course it is. That's why the Navy has so small a surface fleet now that Portsmouth is being considered as surplus to requirements. F**k me you are an argumentative tw*t tonight. Now you are even ignoring facts.
  16. I will comment on whatever I choose to, and whether I have served in the forces is neither here nor there. I have also not cast ANY aspersion on the ability or skill of the RAF to maintain its planes, I am referring to the lack of political and financial support the Forces get from the Government. But of course, you totally missed that point in that in your rush to have a sneery dig. But as has been said, at least we moved on from VC10s and Victors, 30-odd years ago.... Pathetic.
  17. Yeah, of course I am
  18. To be fair, we've played 40 odd games this season and I forgot the Forest and Hull sequences of events when I posted that comment. My bad. I just seem to recall historically we are not very good at fighting our way back into games.
  19. Why does it have to be at home ? We made no inroads into getting back into the game against Cardiff away, Leicester home or Bristol City on both occasions.
  20. Your point is ?
  21. Everyone, look at Sue....
  22. Not at all. West Ham screwed up and largely cancelled out our screw-up from last night.
  23. If West Ham had had a few more minutes, they would have got the winner. They were piling huge pressure on.
  24. Doesnt count
  25. Thanks for the reminder.
