My compliments to St. Chalet for taking moderate action against the poster who is by a long margin the most abusive on the site. I am guessing Gunnery is WindmillArm in disguise. Puel is not only a cheap appointment (everthing about the club stinks "cheap" this season); he is also a "malleable" appoinment - there to do the boards bidding which is to put bought and Academy players in the shop window and sell for massive profit. I perceive NO footballing strategy at the club any more. Last time we had such a patsy manager was Poortvilet under Lowe. Interestingly, to me there is no longer a difference in club strategy compared to when Voldemort was in charge. Times have sadly changed at SMS.

Voted "In", but full of doubt. I dont like the statement he's made about not being so bothered about signing anyone in January because he prefers to work with the current players. I can live with a season of consolidation/mediocrity, but I think we are staring down the gun-barrell of relegation if this is the case. The other clubs will pull their socks up, and we will continue to plod along. I will cross my fingers we dont get relegated, but if there is no upturn in our fortunes I will be looking to a change in the summer. I do not expect us to make the EFL Cup final, which by then would be the only thing that could save him, imo...

And I really couldnt give a big, brown, steaming shiny one about your assessment of my opinion. As a Saints fan from afar and near as often as possible, I am entitled to an opinion. Puel does not inspire or motivate me with his interviews or pressers, so I have my strong doubts he manages to get to the players

According to Graham Poll it was the correct decision from Dean. Somewhat allarmed at his Spurs- reffing record though..

As far as I am concerned this is down to Les Reed and KL failing to support their new manager in the transfer market properly. Last summers business was a total joke. Puels motivation and tactics probably arent helping.

Absolutely nothing new to add the discussion here; all been said a 1000 times. Sad that we still arent allowed to comment on the present situation and should still be stuck in a pink-tinged state of eternal gratitude because of events 8 years ago. -
Puel vs Koeman - Comparsion after 17 Premier League games

What point are you tring to make ? I would like to have seen a little deeper analysis, like goals scored and conceeded. Without it, I perceive we are tighter at the back, but havent got a Scooby's about how to win games. -
I dont want Jose to go, but I want this resolved either way. Couldnt care less the exact figure we get. He came back with a different mindset after the Euros, and he hasnt played as well this season, imo. A shame his Saints career looks set to end on a sour note.

Sorry, Dunc, I think yesterday's J-Rod goals will be used by the board as an excuse NOT to get the chequebook out next month. We may even get a few "told you so" comments in the press. Only time will tell if it will be justified.

Oh, I enjoyed that Really pleased for J-Rod, hope his confidence got a massive boost; he could now turn out to be pretty fundamental to how this season pans out. Lovely backheel from Boufal and play from Davis for our second.

We are after a Vanencia midfielder says the Daily Star

A midfielder ? Claude Puel appears to be the second coming of Burley more and more by the minute... -
Utterly dull. The perfect kit for us.

Puel needs to go. Reed needs to learn some humility too. He isnt a footballing god who knows it all.

71% posession, 4 shots on target. F**king incredible
-
It never really scored for points and now its just tedious, especially from CB Fry who tries to get a rise with every post I make.

Anticipating all the "Its a good point, on another day..." posts from the HCs at FT.

J-rod has to be replaced.
