This is where I think we are at. I think overall KL and Les have done a brilliant job at rejuvenating the fortunes of this club, and I will be forever grateful. But I fear their approach is rapidly nearing the end of the line. We've lost 2 key players, and still dont have a Scooby about who our manager will be - again. Lightning doesnt strike twice in the same place, and this shouldnt be happening at a club achieving its highest PL finish and entering the group stage of the Europa League, especially to clubs who finished below us and have no Europe this season. Its clear the rest of the PL see us as some cheeky upstart interlopers and a soft touch at the negotiating table. I think the club needs a new owner and a new approach. Otherwise we might as well give up / go back to seeing football as a drunken afternoon in the stand with yer mates.

Agreed. I would have put the 6 3rd places and 6 2nd places into a hat, draw out 10 teams and the sequence drawn out determines who plays who. Probably not possible logistically. But its better than that crap 2nd round of Spain '82, if the competition must be expanded to 24 teams.

I think the board have demonstrated a short track record of taking these losses on the chin and moving on to bigger and better things. All I am saying is that if we don't have someone by the end of Euro 2016 when a lot more focus is going to come on available players and managers, I will think things are not moving according to the contingency plans the club is supposed to have,

Aw, what a load of b*ll*cks. But then your attacks on me invariably are non-sensical. Yes, I want them to get it right. Yes, I am patient - up to the point where I think our pre-season is somehow being undermined. Since Euro 2016 is running, I dont think that point has been reached -yet. What I dont like is the sudden massive drop in quality of manager being linked to us. It sounds like we've worked through the Black Box list and come up empty-handed, meaning we are going to be settling for less.
