Struggling to recall a worse result than this in my lifetime. In the driving seat for second place, plenty of games in hand, playing against the worst home team in the division, 4th from bottom. You couldnt make it up. It is crystal clear that, on the strength of this result and the post-Oldham era, there are either some serious f**king attitude problems in the squad, or the manager is utterly incapable of lifting the players to the right state of mind for the games.

I give you Exhibit "A" - tonights game. All you need to see- all the wind and p*ss spoken on here about certainty for automatic promotion and anyone who dares say otherwise being a heretic - for what it really is.

Well according to you and bender, we will lose most of the team if we dont go up, meaning team rebuild next season meaning no promotion next season either. Meaning the 5 year plan is a sitting duck. Reckon NC would cut his losses and leave if we dont go up this season, and the impact it would have.

I've said previously on here that getting out of this league will finally convince me we are on the right course back to the big-time, and that my negativity will no longer be deserved, and that its getting out this league that is the big hurdle to overcome. If we are starting to bury bogeys, that for me is indicative that things really are different about this team and this club. The Swindon result is not completely valid, because they are sh*te at the moment.

Yes, I was severely p*ssed off at 4:15 your time this afternoon, since we let a Austin-less Swindon back into the game (and it was coming for the preceeding 30mins) and maybe I overreacted a bit. But I still feel that our ability to be promoted hangs in the balance, so percentages which roughly equate to 50-50 reflect that. I dont make bets with strangers on the internet any more, ever since I was shafted when a dishonest Gooner didnt pay up.
