Yep and its that sort of rationalising going on in the head of players and management that will cost us promotion. We have to set our stall out, and it has to be communicated to the team that failure (losing) is not an option.

Simple explanation. They generally play so f**king awful mid-week that they come out on the Saturday trying to make amends. I would be interested in knowing what our record on the Saturday is following a good win mid-week. I bet we most often lose the Saturday game.

The joke is really wearing thin. He's a Saints player, FFS, probably tried to be more of one than the likes of Puncheon. He might not be able to cut it, but he gets the p*ss taken out him like he plays for Pompey.
