But who is judging this ? This is the ONE and ONLY drawback to not being a PLC. If the Liebherrs are not going to take an active part in assessnig out progress, the club is essentially NCs plaything.

1. Good motivator /man-manager 2. Good understanding of english game, especially at League 1 level 3. Good contacts in game - able to move in transfer market 4. Good tactical understanding and ability to communicate tactics to team

I was thinking of Sturrock's dismissal too. Just hope NC is aware of the history and really does have a replacement lined up or close-to.

How do you know ? If it takes so long to sign players as we have been told this summer, maybe it has taken him time to find the right manager.

How about the other side of the coin ? NC gave AP a second chance despite him ignoring his targets for last season, gave him the chance to hit the ground running with some transfer support, gave him a pre-season to get the team firing on all cylinders and like the rest of us was p*ssed off with how we lumbered into the season, and that the decision was made prior to the Rovers game ? You obviously still have an axe to grind over the installment plan issue.

PL - level facilities Some good players good organisation Transfer budget. Yeah, which loon will want to manage us ? (Oh, and many are reasonably certain the replacement is lined up already)

So, NC having done it once, is incapable of doing it again, especially as he has had more time on this occasion ? I suggest we wait to find out who it is.

Completely one-sided. NC is as hungry as the fans to return us up to the big time. And he is not scared of making changes. People have compared to Lowe, but Lowe's main criteria in finding a replacementmanager was money, NCs will be results. If it is really true that NC made it clear that promotion was the prio last season (confirmed by that statement in February) and AP ignored this and focused on the cups, then AP had signed his resignation letter back then...

Maybe. Look at how all the "we will walk this league" comments started again yesterday, even though the next home game embarassment is only round the corner.

The timing is deliberate. Our players have no time to stomp off in a hissy fit, they have to give the new manager time. Gives him time to earn their respect and co-operation.

The timing of this is completely f**king mental. If I were in the first team, celebrating a superb result on Saturday, I would be questioning my future. However, NC has ensured they cant go until January, giving them time to click with the new manager. This has been planned for sometime, clearly. Presumably NC had been getting a replacement in place. Explains our transfer activity. New guy has no time.

I dont think anybody is really questioning the medical advice given to the club. I am just finding it surprising and counter-intuitive. Do you think continuing playing via Cortisone injections sounds like a good idea ?
