Those big clubs have enough squad depth to handle the loss of those players for very short periods; if it looks like it is going to be longer, they will buy. We have no squad depth, so if we lose Rickie short- or long-term, it will cost us big time. So it is better to get back-up now. Sorry that is such a complex concept for you to get your brain around.
