Yes it is, but I cannot be bothered labouring the point today. Someone else can have the last word.

Dont agree, I dont want no Billy Big Balls anywhere near the team this season. I bet he wears a suit when he feels like it.

ZaNuLabour definitely played fast-and-loose with the public purse strings over the last term of their government. Was it a scorched earth policy, or a crude attempt at electoral bribery ? It doesnt matter, its left a f**king mess either way that will take a generation to resolve - longer if Labour get back in in 2015 which is clearly what W*nker Hughes is thinking.
-
What a w*nker

Is "erratic" polite code for "trolling" ?
-
Thats why you are moaning non-stop, is it ?
-
I havent ignored it. I dont agree with it, so dont think it is an issue. Your post is a load of rubbish which demonstrates to me you arent all that serious about promotion. Same old lack of ambition garbage.
-
Yes. Yes, he was. We were damned lucky he came along. I think some people dont realise how lucky.
-
No, no, no. I think a Russian gun-runner / money-launderer is better...
-
I think you actually just proved my point.

Why ? You really dont get the state the UK is in, do you ? The UK is in such a mess it needs measures that make Thatcherism seem like the Samaritans. And Hughes wants to sabotage the activities of the only party willing to even vaguely face-up to the realities. This isnt a class war, this isnt fleecing the poor to give to the rich. The whole country is in BIG trouble. And playing petty idealogical battles is plain pathetic.

Those big clubs have enough squad depth to handle the loss of those players for very short periods; if it looks like it is going to be longer, they will buy. We have no squad depth, so if we lose Rickie short- or long-term, it will cost us big time. So it is better to get back-up now. Sorry that is such a complex concept for you to get your brain around. Or is it just willfull pathetic foot-stamping because I wont say "this squad is gonna win League 1 as it is" ?

I thought the same thing, ART. I felt discussion of selling today a little distasteful, which is why I did my best to dismiss it.
-
I see Simon Hughes is today demanding a veto over government policy for the LibDems and saying a coalition with labour is still possible. How arrogant and undemocratic is that ? His party is the junior party. He really is a jumped-up pr*ck. I reckon he'd love nothing better than to bring the coalition down and become leader.

But Markus was very hands-off, and I think it is reasonable to expect the family will remain the same.
-
Dont be ashamed, you werent the only one.

Absolutely agree on this. The German-speaking world is much more conservative (little "c") and longer-term thinking than the type of people who agree to sell off the best and oldest chocolate company in Britain when a bunch of tw*ts up the share price by a few pennies.

I live in Austria, therefore feel I have a greater insight into the thinking of these people than many of you in the UK. I am not in the slightest bit concerned over the committment of the Liebherrs to Saints.
-
You're not even second-rate in the stalking stakes, do you know that ?
-
Fleet Air Arm Museum Bovington Tank Museum Isle of Wight (just the ferry ride, the island itself is boring)
-
Yep, you prove again there isnt much point discussing these matters with you.
-
Something like that. They may also be very mindful and respectful of Markus's wishes. Remember, they are a German-Catholic family, not shallow self-centred vacuous 21st Century English.
-
Why ? We could end up being owned by the Simon Jordans of this world.
-
SFC has cost the Liebherr family peanuts. They dont need to recoup the costs. I suspect that as long as NC wants to keep running the show and the club is reasonably self-sufficient, they are happy to continue to the ownership with a certain distant / detached interest.
